Hi Cat--Yup, that's exactly how my morning (all day) sickness is. One day it's here and the next day it isn't. It was worrying me until it showed up agian. lol As a matter of fact I was fine all weekend. I just said to myself on Sunday, wow, I went a whole weekend without feeling sick. Then I spoke to soon. It was back again Sunday evening.

I'm not really sure what triggers it. I try to constantly eat so that my tummy is never empty (i heard that helps). But sometimes it's difficult to eat when you are feeling sick. Some days I cant even put the fork up to my mouth because I feel like I'm going to puke.

The doctor did give me some medication called Zofran. It is for nausea and it is safe to take during pregnancy. I was trying not to take it at all. Dont want my babies medicated this early. But last night I felt really bad and couldn't take it anymore so I succumbed to the medication. It was the best decision I could have ever made. I felt better instantly. If the nausea is really bad, ask your doctors about Zofran. I promise you ladies, you will not regret it at all. :-)

Also, I spoke to a freind of mine who took Zofran during her pregnancy and she has a healthy 3 year old, so it will not affect your baby at all. But please speak with your doctors about it if you are not feeling well. You shouldn't have to be miserable. :-(

Update,
I haven't had any more brown spotting since Friday morning. Praying it won't come back!!!! I've been having the most EXTREME nausea all day long. Last night my husband ran up to the maternity store in the mall and bought me Preggie Pops a hard candy. It doesn't completely take away the nausea but it really does help. I have my last scan with my RE on April 12 he will then release me to my OB if everything is good. I'm feeling everything is ok, because I just keep getting sicker and sicker.

I have to say nausea isn't any fun but I'm loving every minute of being pregnant. And the though of 2 babies makes me just so happy!

Hi girls just thought I would do a quick pop in!
I am so sorry for all you who are having morning sickness I know what it is like, although this time I am extremely lucky, because I only slightly get nauseated every once in a while usually when I first get up, and if I eat immediatly it goes away.
I love to see the baby move it is so reassuring. I go back for another scan on Thursday and I am really nervous, I have not ever made it this far with any of my pregnancies before, and the last one was a reg sono like this one that I found out. So I am crossing everything that can be  and praying to all that is Holy that this sono gives nothing but the greatest news. I am going to have another next week and prob one more after that before I start to have them every 2 weeks. I want to be going into my 13th week before I sigh that sigh of relief.
I will write more later and let you know how it all goes.
I am praying for all of you and hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Hi girls

This evening I have started with terrible low abdominal pain behind my pubic bone. It doesnt matter what I do it just doesnt go away. I am worried this is the onset of a miscarriage or something as it doesnt feel at all like the twinges I have had since I found out i was pregnant. I am so scared.

Has anyone else had this ??

Yes I had it too at about 7 and 1/2 weeks and have had it ever since. feels like af cramp kinda constant. But everything has been fine so don't fret too much.
Call OB and get them to do a sono for you to make you feel better I did. I am having them every week until week 12. Being to anxious is not good for you. try to relax sweetie as long as there is no bleeding with the pain I am sure everything is fine.
Keep us posted

Cat,

Don't panic. I have thoses pains too. Sometimes I'll have a sharp pain here and there. My RE told me this is just the muscles stretching and pelvic area preparing to support a pregnancy to term.

Thanks girls - i am feeling much better this morning and called the clinic this morning to make sure all is ok. They think because i have had so much abdo surgery i have adhesions and when my womb is growing it is pulling everywhere. They said not to worry if there is no bleeding. The pain has gone so feel OK now.

This morning i got my booking in appointment with the midwives and another scan date for the week after my 1st scan next week so that will be weeks 9 and 10. Feel much happier now, at least i will when i see the heartbeat. You never know rebecca i may be joining you with twins.

No morning sickness today, just felt a bit iffy on waking. Its really sunny here in hull today, have been sat outside reading a book and playing with my cat. I think my cat knows there is something different about me because he wants to sit on my knee all the time but i darent let him in case he squashes the baby!!!

Cat - I don't think the cat can squish your baby LOL that babay is very very protected by an amniotic sac, it like being in a giant water balloon.
I am glad you are feeling better I have alot of stretching and pulling too, also think mine is from surgeries too.

I know this sounds crazy but I swear I can feel this baby move sometimes, mostly at night, I know they say your not supposed to until later but for about 3 nights in a row I felt this little buble like feeling or a bump bump feeling down real low and always in the same place. so it can't be gas in the exact same spot three nights in a row, and it lasts a few seconds.
I had my scan on thursday and baby is still doing well, I will have another this thurdsday and I will be 2 days short of 12 weeks, so if everything is ok I guess I will start to lengthen time between visits and can finally annouce the pregnancy!!! Which is the best to me cause I feel like it has been an eternity already. I am so ready for these next 6 months WOW in 6 months I will have the one thing I have hoped and prayed for for 14 yrs. That is unfreakingbelievable!!!!! Ok Sorry Freak Out Moment I am back now!
Anyway I will update you all later and please do the same I know I am not on here as much as I used to be but I love to read everyones posts. Have a great One and Enjoy those baby bellies!!!! :D

Hi Ladies....

LOL Cat worrying if the cat crushed your baby. I only laugh because I had the same thought yesterday when my 15 lb dog was sitting on my belly, especially since following that I had quite the scare. Sharing the experience in case it happens to anyone else, especially those carrying twins. TMI Warning..... I went to the bathroom and blood everywhere. Needless to say, I started screaming for dh. End of TMI Warning.

Now I was released from my RE on Friday and don't have my appt. with new OB til Wed. Who to call? So I called both. RE first and left a message with emergency service and then the OB whose nurse practitioner got right on the phone with me and told me to go the Emergency Room. Off we went and while in the waiting room RE called back and said to come right to his office. Was so relieved as the ER was packed and I'm so comfortable with my RE.

Well he did a sonogram and everything looked fine. PHEW! Baby A literally was doing somersaults..amazing to see and apparently woke up Baby B who then began waving it's hand and covering it's eyes with the other hand. Heartbeats were strong and they were behaving like olympians. There was no bleeding outside the sacs either. RE said it is not uncommon, especially with twins (and there are alot of us on this thread) for a capillary in the uterine cavity to burst and apparently can bleed alot. Couple that with the fact that I'm on a blood thinner and one can only imagine why I put about 10 years on my life yesterday.

Hope everyone is doing well and feeling well. Still experiencing lots of nauseau and oddly enough boobs feel sore again. Who knows?

hugs,
Ange

Well its good to know you are Ok Ange!!!

Bleeding is what we all dread isnt it but it just goes to show thats its not all bad.

2 more sleeps until my first scan - i literally cant wait.

Have been getting indigestion really bad every night as soon as i start eating my meal. It doesnt matter what it is whether its a roast dinner, salad or pasta the same thing happens and i am in agony for 2 hours and then i get wind really bad all night. Its fun and games in our bedroom LOL!!! Anyone else experiencing this?? I have read about it on the internet and it says it is common in the first and third trimesters. Boy am i looking forward to that second trimester! 3 weeks 2 days to go.

Hope everyone else is ok. Havent heard from Rebecca for a while r u ok chick??

Hi rebecca good to hear from you

I've been feeling ok on and off. At the weekend both days i had no nausea or sickness and then today, as soon as I got up I felt so nauseous and drained and it lasted until about 2 ish but feeling ok now. I keep having good days and bad days really. Doesnt sound too bad compared to your symptoms.

You are lucky to be having your OBGYN appt so soon. My first one (with the midwife over here) isnt until middle of may!!! They sent me loads of paperwork etc including birth plans etc which i filled in straight away, its so exciting. At least i have my scan on wednesday to look forward to and another the week after.

Take care all

WOW Ange - that was a scare I cannot imagine. It is good to know that you can have bleeding and not always be a bad thing. VERY happy you and babies are ok.

Cat I can't wait to hear about your scan, it is so exciting.

Rebecca Sorry you are having such trouble with morning sickness hope it gets better soon!!!

As for me, just waiting patiently for next sono on thursday, and growing like I am carrying twins which I am not, just look like it. I am officially in maternity jeans now, no other pants I have will button around my belly, I bought these things that you are supposed to be able to use with your pants to cover your belly it is a panel like thing that buttons onto your regular jeans, then tucks into them to cover belly which is ok except then you can still see your zipper open, unless you are wearing a maternity shirt which I do not want to do yet until, I am ready to announce. Whew if not one thing it is another, and the funny thing is none of this is what I thought I would be worried about. Anyway I do have to admit that I am starting to feel better, very very little nausea, moodiness slacking, fatigue too boobs still sore and growing already went up a size and a cup form a 36B to a 38C ,yeah baby, Look Out Pamela Anderson!! LOL NOT!!! :P Anyway just a few more days,5 to be exact and I am officially 3 months, i cannot believe it I think I am in a dream, I am going to do a dance like no bodies business on Thursday if everything is ok. I guess that will be my official day cause only 2 days before 12 weeks. So that is only 3 days. wow that makes me dizzy just thinking about it, I might pass out at Dr office to know for sure all A'OK.
Ok I am done rambling now gonna go.
I look forward to all updates, Have a Good One Ladies!!!! :D :D :D
