EC trmw

Post by alisonn »

I had my last scan friday and was told there was 3 good size folicules
and loads of smaller ones, i was told EC either tue or they might
wait one more day and give the smaller ones a chance, they gave
me a blood test and i was told EC trmw, i was surprized as i thought
they might give the smaller folicules one more day to catch up,
so now im feeling very apprehensive and thinking the 3 good size
ones might not have any eggs inside them !!!!! why do we torture
ourselves like this.
alison

Hi Alison

God it's easier said then done but try not to worry too much - you are having EC so that is great news and remember you just need one for a baby. They know when the right time to take the eggs out are so trust your doctor.

Some girls have gotten more than 1 egg from 1 follicle as well.

Best of luck with it, will be thinking of you.

Love Jen xx

well ec went well i acutually had 10 eggs and 6 were
successful for ICI's, but today was a bit stressful, i was
told by the nurse last week embryo transfer would be 48hrs after
which i queried as my last 3 attempts (at a different clinic)
were done 72hrs after and of course u do worry, but my partner
said they must know what they are doing, so getting myself
mentally prepared went upto london today only to be told that i was
down for 72 hrs transfer, nobody had read my notes!! so back up trmw,
it doesnt get any easier.
