17 folly' s all between 9-12mm!!! and been told that a huge amount for 8 days of stimms so now i am worried about ohss and excited as i have so many follcles.

ive read so far that it develops after 3-4 day after EC, but my tummy is so full and bloated. i bought some size 18 and size 20 trousers ready for when i get preggers, as i dont want work people to notice.....and when i was at work yesterday, i wore size 20 trousers, and still had to undo top button yesterday!! OMG!!! Im freaked by the size ive gotten too, normally im size16.

So all is all, feeling ok and positive but a little concerned over ohss, could any one tell m more about it........

Ive also sent joy a little message...... x x x

Hey Nicki,
Good going..
ohss is ovarian hyper stimulation synrome- some women are very sensitive to drugs and produce lots of follicles- that in turn leads to lots of hormones being produced which makes you feel very bloated- all i know is that one has to keep drinking water and eating well..All your follies may or may not have mature eggs at the time of egg collection- they will use only those that are mature- they like them at anywhere b/w 16-20mm..
that makes them ready for fertilisation- hope that made some sense..i'm not too sure about ohss, just check with your doc if the amount of bloating you are having is normal for the amount of follicles you have- it sounds resonable to me though..17 follies is great going!!
Good luck hun!

Becky,
Serenity is such a lovely name- bet she has ger granpa wrapped around her pinkie!!
Holly,
Hang in there, dont touch those hpts and thats an order!
Joy, if you're popping in, hows lil Joey?

Denise,
Have Lily and Faith started to crawl?
I'm not thinking of a second one at all- at least not now- i'm just enjoying dhruvaa..I just couldnt be more blessed i think..and yes, theres the emotional investment if i think of another cycle..

hugs,
smita

Hey there lovely people

GOSH - long time, big silence!!! I can't believe it's a year and I have been doing so much - no free time anymore, giving these little fingers a rest from years of abuse!!! (Can't seem to remember what a keyboard is!!)

DH and I are having such a ball - it is great fun all the way. Holly and Nicki wishing you loads and loads of PMA, fairy dust and all the other good luck charms that could help with a positive outcome for you both.

So, Holly have you managed to hold out and not test!!!

Nicki hows the bloated feeling going? I remember it all too well, just keep thinking of it as a positive sign that all is progressing nicely.

Becky, how was the break?

Denise, are those twins keeping you on the move?

Big hugs to you all.

Little P

OH yay the old crowd..... Thanks Denise for sending me the message to come here.

You all seem to be doing wonderful!! So good to see.
Joey's Birthday is Today. !!! It is so exciting and sad at the same time. Seems like I just brought him home and he is already one. He has been walking since 10 months and now Runs everywhere.
We will be trying again starting in June. He needs a play mate. He tires me out with his climbing and running and taking everything out of it's place. But he is so much fun.
I think everyone should put up updated photos of the babies.!!
Love
Joy
P.S Nikki I am so glad you are doing so well. I have everything crossed for you.

Aww, Joey is one, I can hardly believe it. Brings tears to my eyes. What a handsome little man he is too.

Little P, its been ages. Glad to see all is well with you.

Nicki, fab news on lots of follies. Still crossing everything for you.

And you too Holly... its time for a BFP!

The girls are saying dada/dadee now.. figures that would be first. no crawling yet, but I think Alyssa is close. Lily just laughs at everything, especially the dogs.

Hey guys. The girls just enjoyed their first Easter weekend. Grandma bought them chocolate which mommy and daddy ate... lol. They're still too little for that anyways.

Hope you guys all had a lovely weekend. Holly, are still on cloud nine?
