BAD NEWS!!!

just to let every1 know that, our IVF has been cancelled.
My estrogen levels are thro the roof. I would be at servere risk of OHSS if i would go ahead with EC.
I am very sad now. And really dont know what to think!
Tomorrow i have to go in for a drip, as i am now very ill, so they tell me though apart from bloating, i feel fine!!!

So right now, havent a clue whats next or even when or if at all.....

i am so sorry.


just remember about the roller coaster.
lots of ups and downs and all the loops

some how you will pull to the end and have your children.

i wish you where closer
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

OMG Nicky, that's really bad news! I'm so sorry to hear your news. I didn't actually realise they would need to cancel a cycle like that...wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. What happens now? How will a drip help you? Big hugs to you and DH!

Nicola, sorry to hear that. BUT next time your clinic will know to perhaps reduce the dosage of your drugs. You obviously respond too well to the drugs! Please don't let this setback get you too down, knowing how your body responds will help with your next cycle.

i dont know, much today. have writen pages of Q's for 2moro.
Dh says the stims should hve gone down when i got to 24 follies. i was on 150iu of puregon.
yes, this cycle is trial and error, but right now me and dh r read to throw it all in and quit.........

I so wanna a babe, but cant find strength to continue this hell journey any more.

The drip will help my health, and recover me! my E2 level was36000. gone up 10000 in 24 hrs and thas with no stims!

Yikes!!! Im so scared. My health is so much more important than a baby.

Nicky, I am so sorry about your news, I hope you get better though, as you said, your health is the most important thing of all. And yes, as you said, unfortunately this is trial and error, so hang in there, don't give up. I know you must be tired now, take some time and then come back with your batteries recharged!!.

Nic, I am so so sorry. That is just awful! All that work and stress, and now to be ill and have it cancelled. I'm just devestated for you. You are right, your health is more important. You need to take care of yourself first. Get better and get some rest, and you can think about the rest later. Pls. know our thoughts are with you.
