Nicola, I'm so sorry to hear your news, take really good care of yourself and get better soon. Try and look on the positive side if you can - you had an excelent response to the drugs (too good) and you now know that you can get lots of follicles. IVF is trial and error and the more information the doctors have the better they can prepare your protocol. You'll come back strong and get that BFP I know it. Take care and keep in touch, your lovely spirit keeps our spirits up X

Hi,
I am starting my stims on april 12th, I went to my doctor today for an ultrasound and culture and he said that everything looks great on the ultrasound, so I am excited.
Snowwhite , I have been on lupron since march 26 and I really didn't notice any side effects except some hot flashes here and there, usually during the night.
Doddo72 I had to take prometrium for a week and it did make me dizzy (I was taking it at night) , but the farmacist said that it is a common side effect.

Charlie, just read your post, so sorry. But are you sure? Will you be doing a blood test? Your embies could have implanted late and there is no way they would show up on a hpt. How many dpt are you?

Nicki, sorry to hear about your ohss! Right now, concentrate on taking care of yourself. Your time is coming, promise. Alot of times, it takes the 1st IVF cycle for your RE to see how you respond to the drugs. Take care.

Sorry for the sad news Charlie! M prayers are with you.

Nicolamark- I am sorry to hear that your cycle was cancelled! Keep the faith!!!

Out of the 9 eggs that I had retrieved, the lab said 6 were mature and they all fertilized. The lab is going to call me back tomorrow and let me know what time I go for the transfer on Thursday.

I am so nervous that they will stop growing and dividing!
I am starting to feel somewhat better today..

Rebecca~ sorry to hear your cycle got cancelled. Hopefully things will get back on track again!

How are my April buddies doing? Sorry I have been off the computer, this 2ww is killing me. We are going to home test on Sunday since I am crawling out of my skin and then blood test Tuesday. I guess knowing that we do have some frozen ones will hopefully help if this didn't work this time! Really, this 2ww is hell!!

JesJes- Good luck are you feeling any symptoms.

Donna- Great news on EC and fert hope you are feeling ok and hope ET goes well with big healthy ones how many are you transfering?

Daly- Great No. do you know yet how many have fert?

Well guys i had EC yesterday got 14 in total and was really sore and sick afterwards. Have woken feeling better this morning as i am writing this i should be ringing to see how many fertilized but i am that excited and worried at the same time i can not pick up the phone and ring.
Can anyone tell me my DH has very low everything that he produces does this decrease our chances of fert even doing ICSI?

My thoughts are with you all, all we can do is keep doing!

not that i know of!! I think jess is getting me mixed up with nicola. i finally have my EC tomorrow, clinging on to the fact that we get at least one that will fertilise. Apart from nervous, I feel ok today which makes me a bit scared that all my follicles have disappeared!

Good luck to all who are joining me in the belated Easter egg hunt tomorrow, fingers crossed for us all.
