good news

Post by tanya »

Some of you might remember my posting a few months ago that dh had no sperm in ejaculation and his specialist wouldn't do a tesa because he thought it was a waste of time, he told us he was sorry but there was nothing he could do, well we went and saw our ivf doctor and he said it's always worth a try so we went ahead with a full cycle of icsi with tesa. We got 18 eggs 16 of them fertilised even the scientist in the lab was in shock as he said dh sperm was such poor quality well we had two transferred yesterday and we found out today that 10 were good enough to freeze. It just shows that the doctors aren't always right. The only downside is i have already started to get mild ohss and the transfer was only yesterday, I have had severe ohss before so i'm a bit scared but i know it's one of the things we have to go through to achieve our goal.
good luck to everyone and i hope you all have a great christmas i will let you know how i go, my test date is the 31st.
all my love tanya
