Charlie and Nicki. I was so sad to see your posts when I logged on. This is such an unpredictable treatment and so challenging. You will both be in our prayers and take wonderful care of yourselves and your dh.

Rebecca - I'm so glad your cycle is going well. You made it! What a long road, but it is paying off nad you won't remember a thing about all those shots once the baby arrives!

Melly - Welcome! Good luck on your retreival. Sounds like you are doing great! (and I totally agree about those darn Ovidrel needles - so dull!)

Vlada - Welcome! Good luck!

Jovigal - How are you?

JesJes - You're almost there! Hang on just a little longer! BFP BFP BFP

marxp - I'll definatley check out your website.

Donna - We are having twin cycles. I also had 6 fertilize and also am now agonizing over there dividing! They said I could check on the sextuplets tomorrow morning! It's so nerve wracking to call. I can hardly stand it. sticky vibes to us both!

N77 - WOW! Great number of eggs! Sorry, I don't know about your ICSI question. I just know that ICSI is good for any sperm issues. My freinds dh has no sperm and had to do the extraction procedure and she did great. (has 2 little ones now) Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Happy stimming or sticky vibes and AF jiggies to everyone else.

I had 6 fertilize of the 8 mature eggs. NOt sure what happened to the other 2, but happy with my family of sixtuplets for now. WE'll decide how many to transer on Thu. I also went to acupunture todya and will have them at the bedside for transfer. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed for us all.
TTC 4 yr

2nd IVF - BFP - dd died 5 wk old in mommy's arms
4th IVF - BFP!! TWINS!!!

Nicki -
Sorry your cycle was cancelled. As Rebecca put it, you are a good responder and should not have problem in the future. I came down with OHSS and was in the hospital for two days. The main thing is that you are healthy and ok. That is your first priority. Stay strong and give yourself some time to heal.

Charlie -
I am also sorry to hear your news, but I would wait for the blood test to confirm your BFN. From what I understand, FET is lower success than a fresh cycle. Hopefully you will be able to take on another cycle in the future. Happy Birthday!

Donna -
Good luck on your eggs getting fertilized. Sounds like you have a nice amount for your ET.

I am just getting over strep throat and now on antibiotics. Doc says it will not affect a possible pregancy, but who knows?

I guess I am a bit down because I have a feeling thathis FET did not stick. It's been a strange week because at times I felt pregnant and other times did not. Now it seems I am getting AF cramps. Not everyone knows when they are pregnant, but was lucky to know right away the first time I was. It was very clear to me. I'm not getting that feeling this time and being ill has definitely clouded it.

All in all, I would not be surprised with a BFN next Tuesday. In the meantime, I will try to stay positive to my best ability.

On a positive note, I see a lot of good opportunities of BFP this month and look forward to the final confirmation!

Nicky I am sorry to see that your cycle has been canceled. I know how difficult it just to wait for everything to start; can’t imagine how difficult must be to be canceled. :(

I had my first follie count; I have 5 on the left and 2 on the right. My doc also told me that usually out of 10 follies you get 7 eggs. So, accordingly, I could get 4 or in the best case 5 eggs. OK, I might not be the follie fabric…In the end it takes only one, right!?!?!
I also started genorelix this morning. The whole thing is premixed, but the needle was kind of weird…It took a while before it penetrated the skin. Luckily, I have fat on my stomach (I never thought that I will ever say that) so it doesn’t hurt that much and the ice helps too.
:)

Hey Ladies:

sorry to be off the board but trying not to obsess during the 2ww and while on bedrest.

I am so sorry Charlie & Nicola. It's a tough go - no question, and you'll need some time to adjust, but we're thinking of you.

seems like several of you awaiting EC & ET - best of luck to you all and take it easy. Can't stress it enough!

Trying to stay positive here - it's round #4 for us, and obviously very nervous about it working... but, I think I've done all I can in terms of prep and rest - - acupuncture, no caffeine, bedrest, etc - so, it's out of my hands now.

Best to all - keep the positive vibes coming!!

I copied this from the O/S board, and am looking for your thoughts... Any?? :?

"OK - so here's the question: I POAS this afternoon (i could not help myself) and justified it by telling myself that I was just confirming that the HcG trigger (9 days ago on 4/2) was out of my system. However, lo-and-behold - a faint line appeared on the FRER test. Can I presume this is the remnants of the HcG trigger??? Dare I hope? input desperately desired!! "

I am only 4dp3dt (7dpER), so pretty much guessing it's still the trigger shot? I guess now I'll have to keep testing to see when it leaves....

Hi girls, My second scan today. Everything still looks great on my right ovary, but my left still a little slow. I have 5 there now. My lining is at 12. I'll probably trigger by the weekend. May of my right follies are already at 13, 15, etc... My left are 10's 11's, etc.. I'm thinking because of the issue she had with my right, that she'll try and stim my left as much as possible, even taking the chance of losing some off the top of my right cause they're too big. I guess we'll see what happens. The Repronex has made me very sick. I'm really nauseus, diarrhea, etc... I felt like I had the flu. Feeling better today. I never had this problem with the Menopur, so it's a little shocking. My next scan is Friday am, and I should know a lot more then.

Jessica, You're funny. Don't worry dear, your eggs did not disappear. But... many girls fear that. We all get scared that we're going to ovulate, but it's very rare. You'll be fine.

Melly, I had dull needles as well, and my shots were hurting a lot this time. I asked my clinic for some new ones, and they just gave me some and they're so much better than what the pharmacy sent. It makes a difference in the pain. ASK FOR SOME NEW ONES!

Daly 6 fertilizing is fantastic! You'll do great. Good luck at transfer. Sixtuplets on the way! EEK! :-)

Susan, GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!

Sher8, I know it's hard honey, but stay positive. You wont have preggo side effects yet. Just cause you feel fine doesn't mean anything. Keep the faith, and try to relax. I know that's almost impossible, but try. The 2ww is a nightmare. It's the slowest 2 weeks of your life.

Croella: You're right girl it only takes one. If you get 4 or 5 That's great, but one is great too! That leads to one happy bouncing baby! :-)

I'm sure I forgot some of you. It's so hard. There's so much going on here. More later. Take care and sticky baby dust!

Good evening ladies!

Hopeful and Rebecca - I really hope EC went well for you both today - I hope you got lots and lots of eggies!

Melly - good luck for EC tomorrow!

Donna, Daly and N77 - Good luck with transfer!

I've had a nice birthday despite our bad news yesterday, we've been to a wildlife sanctuary today and seen lots of baby animals - so cute! it has been a beautiful day and we have put the finishing touches to our garden. I've just had all my family around and I had the chocolate fountain going, so feeling fairly sick! I've also had a nice glass of wine! I have my follow up appointment on Tuesday 1st May to discuss next steps.

Big hugs to all

Hi girls, I have to say that I'm taking it a little more easy with this cycle. Before I gave up everything, the caffeine, did the accupuncture, bedrest, etc.. This time I'm not giving up any of it, and I'm going right back to work after a day or two. I'm not doing the accupuncture either. Am I being too drastic. I just figure that women get pregnant every day not giving up anything, and not doing accupuncture, and I did it all and didn't get pregnant 4x, so this time I'm doing it different. I think it will be less stressful not worrying about all of this. What do you think?
