New and needing support.

Post by Roro »

Hello, my name is Rose. I'm new at writing, but I've always lurked.
I've just went through my first IVF with a negative result on Saturday.
It strings.

On a positive note, we have 3 frozen eggs left. If anyone has been through this, how soon after did you try again?

Many blessings, Rose

Welcome, Rose. I had a failed Frozen Embryo Transfer at the end of January and I'm scheduled to use the rest of my embryos (3, or whatever is viable after the thaw) this Friday. I'm sorry the fresh cycle didn't work for you - I've heard that some women actually do better with a frozen cycle, so hopefully that will be the case for you. Good luck!

Hi Rose,

Sorry to hear about your result. I know how rough that can be first hand. I got a negative result after my first IVF cycle as well. It was really hard on me but I jumped right back on the horse and started a new cycle as soon as I could. My first cycle ended in November 06 and I started my FET cycle in February 2007. I go in tomorrow for my test and I'm scared out of my mind after what happened last time. We still have 3 frozen embies for another FET.

Just try to remember that everything happens when it's supposed to. I'm Christian so I find a lot of comfort in my faith. Good luck to you...whatever you decide.

Rosie,
I had my first fresh IVF in November. The result was an ectopic pregnancy. After my hormones were back to normal, my doctor wanted me to wait a month before meds. I am currently on my 2nd cycle awaiting a transfer with 3 frozen embies. Keep the faith! I know that it's hard now and then and your emotions are like roller costers, but all will end how it's supposed to. Try to stay positive and be good to YOU!

Best wishes,
Karen
