when should i have first scan???

hi im 6 weeks pregnant today and havnt had my next scan yet im so worried ive got my ultasound week from today .did anyone else have there ultasound at this stage?

I think each fertility doctor is different. I started having weekly scans from week 5 - 8. Then I was discharged to my OB. The OB only does them at week 20 and 28.

You should hear the heartbeat at your scan next week. Good luck!

Hi Chvonne we are about a week apart im 7 weeks today and i had my scan yesterday i did have one at 6 weeks but only because i had a bleed and had to go t hospital, Im having my 3rd scan at 9 weeks.

hiya thats great how was your scan ?and was there a difference between the 6 wk and 7 wk one could they see a heartbeat?

Hi we could see the heartbeat at the 6 week scan at the 7 week you could make out the head i think its still a bit unclear to be honest i couldn't make much out i can't wait for my 9 week scan as the baby will be much clearer

My RE is doing the same as yours. My first scan will be at my 7 week mark, which will be May 1st. I REALLY wish I could have one sooner. I'm so worried that when we get around to the scan there will be no heartbeat. My hubby thinks I'm WAY overworrying though. I'm sure I am. I am only 4 weeks and 3 days today, so I have a long way to go. Good luck with your first scan. That is so exciting!!
