Pixiesmom, I notice that I crave salty foods too, it is weird. Before being pregnant, I did not add salt to many things, but now I feel like adding salt to EVERYTHING!!!

Hi, Pep23, Carisa, Sokru8 and Bluemoon! Welcome! It is great to see you on this side :D

MISSPIGGY, wonderful and strong numbers!!!

Quita, I am the same as you, 5 weeks, 6 days today. I am a mess, I have had nausea this whole time but when I left work I gagged a little and I had to make sure that there was a bag beside me before I started to drive, just in case. Thankfully I did not need it, but strangely enough a couple of blocks later, I smelled food from a restaurant and was hungry! I am a mess.

Reward74, I am glad to hear it!! I knew things would be fine!

Mrs B

Hello there and welcome 28th Nov still Sagittarius so you definitely qualify for this post. These fire sign babies are a little handful and we all need all the help we can get!

Pixiemom

great news on ultrasound and another next week, thats great. Are you in England? My clinic told me I had to be at least 7 weeks before the would do mine boo hoo!

Pixiemom and Reward

you both freaked me out with the thought of your previous m/c's. I can't think of anything more terrifying feel sick just thinking of it.

Dear God, I hope it works out for us all this time -we have all got good odds. Especially if we all eat and drink and rest really well, the rest we have to give up to our higher power.

Denise

This whole pregnancy thing is crazy isn't it - it takes over your whole being. As for sleeping, well! My baby(s) go into growing over time. I keep thinking I now know, how Alice in Wonderland felt. "being so many different sizes in a day is very confusing!"

Miss Piggy

It was so nice to hear a positive story. Sending us all lots of PMEnergy.
Hope you are doing well today and enjoying the sun.

Carisa

Welcome aboard. Your symptoms sound so familiar you could be describing mine exactly. Christmas Babies for us all!!!

Sonya,

Hi honey, great to see you this side of the board. It's so exciting and scary here, but the sun is shining like summer here in England and Spring is definitelyin the air. I laid on the beach with my dh yesterday and thought what a great time and place to grow up.

Bluemoon

Welcome and congrates to you!

Love to everyone. Going out now to seize the day. PME to you all.

Love Paquita xxx

Hi Eveyone,
5 weeks 4 days.
So, you all sound great which makes me feel great!

MissPiggy- Beta sounds great! Keep that little one growing! Thanks for the us story. I decided last week that I wasn't giving up on #2. It's just too early & I am getting too fat for just one

reward your betas sound great! it seems like a long time until the 23rd & I'm sorry you have to wait so long to see your little ones but, I do understand why. You just worry more if you don't see that hb. Are you feeling sick yet? I don't neccesarily have ms but, just feel sick sometimes.

Carisa- Count 40 weeks from conception date or ec date & you should have your due date. There are also alot of calendars online if you want to find out that way. Good luck!

Sokru- My cousin had ivf & took hpt on Easter too BFP for her too. Good job ladies!

Cookholmes- Maybe we are both having boys. I also craved salt like carzy with my ds but neither dd's.

MrsB-I can't eat meat either & dh is about to strangle me. I feel so guilty because I couldn't even force down one piece of broccoli either last night. I can't stand anything healthy. I guess it's a good sign though.

Quita- 6weeks, congrats!
No, I am not in England I am in the US. I live in the The Eastern part of Washington state where it's sunny all the time. I have a DR that will give me an us whenever I want. I am fortunate because I have very good ins that will cover any that my DR deems neccesary. If I don't feel right he will do it. My ins also paid $40,000 in fertility treatment including egg donors & $10,000 in meds. I am very fortunate. I feel bad when I read some of the rules that you have in the Uk for treatment but, there are also maybe 1% of people in the Us that have any fertility coverage all all so, I guess there are good & bad in both. So, if you get one at 7 weeks when do you get the next?
I am so sorry for scaring you about the ms I try to be guarded about my ms because none of us are at a time that we want to hear about it & that's why I haven't mentioned it much. I have actually had 3 & the 1st 2 were before my 3 healthy kids so, it's not all bad. We just have to keep pushing forward & surrender to whatever will be.

Good luck to everyone & talk to you soon!!

Pixiesmom, OMG, what insurance do you have??? I have been looking to find an insurance company or organization that offers infertility insurance. We paid out of pocket for most of the tratment, but we were able to get some of the testing covered, we just had to fudge the reason codes on some.

A boy, that would be fun!!! My DH has a daughter so I know he would be thrilled with a little boy. I am noticing that eating sweet foods make me really nauseous. It has gotten so bad lately that I try not to even think of sweet foods. It is a great deterrant from the candy dish on my desk.

Quita, I know what you are talking about I already have to buy a larger size pant, which is very sad. The only thing with IVF is that you get bloated from all of the meds and then you get pregnant, so there is no time to lose weight before you start gaining it again.

Today we went to look at strollers and baby furniture, that stuff is expensive! We are glad that we have a few months to acumulate all of it. It is funny, we will pay $12,000 to get pregnant, but the rest was not really factored in, but it is all worth it! (I am just being cheap now, lol)

If you ladies work, have you thought about whether or not you will go back to work after giving birth? I am undecided. In theory, I will not have to work, but it really helps my self esteem to feel needed at the office. In the most ideal world, I would stay home but work every once in a while when I need to feel like I am contributing to the household income.

HI

i think i will be dec too as diu was 29/03/07 ....we tested +ve 12/04/07 & according to clinic am now 4 weeks 4 days so very early stages

we have never got this far before(3 failed ICSI 4 failed FET & 1 failed diui) so everything is new..........am a bit of an IVF expert now so feels strange to be in a place where I am a novice!

i dont really understand anything about levels but we had a blood test 12/04/07(14 days after insemination) and was told levels were 392.4 whatever this means?

anyway, have another long wait now, we are booked in for a scan fri 4th may which is when they will tell us if everything is ok & where it should be......this is torture, makes the 2ww seem a doddle...

anyway,
just wanted to say hi & to say congratulations to everyone else with big fat +ves

Sarah

5 WEEKS 5 DAYS
cook-I have a Premera Blue cross plan but, my dh works for a very large company & large companies are good for extra coverage on their plans. I know I am fortunate to have this & I actually pay alot less than cash patients because it's like going to the regular dr where the drs are contactually obligated to accept the lower ins payment which leaves me alot leftover on my benefit. I also get most of my meds paid for under my regular ins not the fertilty part because if a med is dual purpose like lupron, progestrone, estrogen it isn't considered fertilty meds. I know I am fortunate to have the 3 kids that I already have & then to get this wonderful ins coverage. I wish it was available for all of us. I wish I could share it.

JES & SJ CONGRATS!!!
