Thank you all for your words of encouragement. It has been real soothing.

I thought my world was over because my DH wanted to cancel everything! I was thinking I was not only going to loose my baby dreams but my husband and his 4 year old daughter who I love very much all in one day! I was devistated! I was thinking how could I stay married to a man who won't have a child with me???? It couldn't happen! So I for sure thought it was over....but

My DH and I have decided to go to counselling and he promised to try to be more open minded about the IVF. I think we kinda jumped pretty fast into it after we found out that was our only route. After we found out 1 week later I was on BCP and we were doing all the prescreening.... We of course want to work it out and don't want to leave each other. My DH seems sincere about the counselling and open minded thing. I do think he has a form of anxiety when it comes to emotions and feelings, not to mention he is a man! soo we will see.....

Not to affend anyone but I was thinking I am only 31 and my issue is a blocked tube....so I still have some time to try IVF. I am just trying to smooth the awful knot in my stomach, and still keep my hopes up that I still have a chance at having a baby. We will just have to see how he feels after all this.....

Hey Ladies:
BWHD - GOOD LUCK today!!! positive thoughts your way.

JesJes - good luck on testing today - hope that's a big number for you - let us know!

Well, my faint line at 7dp3dt was just evap - nothing since, although I convince myself I keep seeing shadows. It;s still early at 9dp3dt, so keeping our fingers crossed and trying to stay hopeful, although it's really tough.

Have a great day all!

This two week wait is HELL!!!
I am still cramping (worse when I get up and walk around) I have butterflies in my tummy, Kinda like feeling that its difficult to breathe. I have a tummy ache, gas (sorry for oversharting), and I am depressed! I really hope I get a BFP next week!

I can't stop thinking about things. I dreamt that I had a baby girl.
Oh and of all times I got a big zit on my face!!
:( :(

For those that are on the prometrium vaginally, does it feel like it all comes out an hour or two later?
How does it work if it all ends up in my panty liner? Sorry for all the explicit stuff....But talking to you all is like talking to my sisters...except I talk to you more!

Good luck today for those awaiting their BFP's!!!

Hang in there Donna and try to stay as busy as possible to try to keep yourself from going crazy these next two weeks. Yes it seems like the suppositories react the way you stated, but they are still "working." It seems you are having good and positive signs, but still too soon to tell. Just be sure to drink plenty of fluids and take care of yourself.

Heck, I am at 13 days and still going crazy over here! Slight bleeding and cramps on and off again so it has been truly a ride for me on this one.

Best of luck,
Sher

P.S. as far as the zit, can't help you on that one

Snow White – You are incredibly wise and strong person. I am truly amazed with your rationalizing and decisions; as if it is not enough that you just recently found out that you have blocked tubes; now you have to deal with your husband’s emotions and fear that you will lose the loved ones too. Honestly, I am unsure how would I react to that situation. It seams, in your case, what ever the outcome will be; you have the strength and the heart to handle it. You already are a wonderful mother. Good luck with counseling; I hope that your hubby will soon realize what a true treasure you are. :)

Donna – I don’t think that this forum is just for the “nice” things…What I mean is; all of us have some weird little embarrassing symptoms that make us reluctant to share. The truth is, it might be happening to someone else and it might help them not to feel scared or embarrassed.  . Also, after this experience, I don’t think that any of us will think about the dignity in a same way. For example: Yesterday, my doctor literally drew a target on my butt so my hubby would know where to give me a Pregnyl shot. If I didn’t have a sense of humor about it I would probably spend a day crying. It is not shameful to have gas and telling us about Prometrium coming out helps because it will probably happen to me and I won’t worry about it. :)

So, the target on my butt was used last night at 10 pm. My retrieval is on Tuesday at 9 am. I too have weird symptoms this morning. Since my ovaries are position weirdly (according to my doc) it seams that my left one is pressing on my colon causing a constant feeling like I have to go to the bathroom. And it is worse if I lay down. I am so happy that the shots are over; all of my recent shot spots each like crazy.

Snow White - (((((hugs))))) to you! I know you and your DH will be able to talk things out. It is good that he is willing to try. Sometimes people need to take some time to fully absorb and understand this IVF thing. I hope he will come around. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Donna - Hang in there! I went crazy during the 2ww as well. It is hard to not do anything when we are used to timed shots and endless ultrasounds. The fear has time to catch up to us. I know saying to relax just won't help but try to stay busy. We are all here, hoping and praying for you!

Today I took my last BCP so as soon as AF gets here I will be able to start my stims. I am a little depressed and scared even though I have been through this before and know what to expect. I just hope this time it works....

Well girls: Retrieval actually started off really well this morning. They were able to get to my right ovary, by getting two nurses to push on my abdomen, and push the ovary out of the way of the blood vessels. It actually worked, but apparently I was moving all over the place because they were pushing so hard, and the Dr. could not give me any more anesthesia to get me to stop moving, because my breathing was too shallow. You see, they do this in an office setting, and not the hospital. If it was done in the hospital, they would have been able to intubate (probably spelling that wrong) me and give me more anesthesia, but because it's done in the office they can only give me so much and can't intubate to control the air flow. The anesthesiologist was getting nervous about my breathing, so they had to wake me up. I had already been under an hour. He made them stop. They had only gotten 3 eggs by that time, all from my right ovary. They never got to finish getting them out of my right, and never even got to my left. So, the good news is they were able to access it, the bad news is they didn't have enough time to get them all out, and could only get 3. UGH! Isn't that a bummer. There were so many good eggs in that ovary. Now she's afraid of OHSS because all those eggs are being left in there to release on their own. So... I'm hoping for no OHSS, and 100% fertilization! so I'll have 3 to put back again. EEK! So dissapointing, but keeping the faith and my hopes up. At least I got 3. I know it only takes 1.

Donna - I totally laughed at your POAS today! I think I've met my match when it come to POAS addiction!! You have really positive signs. I'm hoping to see some my way too. What a beautiful dream!!
I would think they would let you test 14 days after retrival. That is a very normal time for a blood test. Maybe tell them straight up or you could say you have an important event (hey cyber buddies testing is important event right?) and would like to test beforehand. Either way, peeing on a stick that day should be fairly reliable with first am pee. I'm going totally crazy too. Back to work tomorrow. BTW, I had those suppositiories for 9 weeks with an earlier pregnancy. It feels like nothing stays in and there is that constant "oh no so fresh feeling". They kept assuring me "enough stays in". I'm doing the IM butt shots now. I don'[t think there is a pleasant progesterone alternative!!! I can't wait for them to come out with a patch :D
(btw, loved the website)

Sher8 - I am sending you loads of sticky vibes and BFP. I'm hoipng those cramps and spotting is implantation. I was spotting with cramps with my last pregnancy adn dd always did great. BFP BFP BFP!

CroElla - We had to have a butt target drawn on ( I actually regquested it!) with our first IMs a few years ago too. Now, we have such a routine after all these years that dh and I don't th9nk twice about it. Normal is very relative! How did the shot go? If you have bruising I highly recommend dh applying pressure to the spot for 10 minutes and then he can rub. This really works and we found it out around our 4th cycle of IM progesterone after only rubbin all the previous times without pressure first. For us bruisers, only rubbing can make it much worse!! ET is around thie corner. I'm so excited for you. Seems like just yesterday we weren't even sure if AF would behave to let you stim sooner. Wishing you a wonderful ER :D

Lisa - I have everyihtng crossed twice. Keep up the PMA. STICKy sTICKY sTICKY

Hopeful - YEAH! Welcome to the 2ww (as in wait for sanity to return) I'm so happy to read the great news. How may were transferred and how are you feeling?

Susan - I have had extremebly vivid dreams too. It's the most exciting part of my day! My boobs aren't doing much eiher. In fact, nothing is doing much. :x I am so impaitient and wanting all signs now! (much like a toddler in their terrible twos) The dementia is definatley settling in!

Jess Jess - You just hold on until the blood test. With one of my pregnancy (twins I mc'd weeks later) I had a positive blood test and then a negative pee stick! We called the RE and said we'd lost another pregnancy etc...then for some reason I tested hours later and had a bfp agian. The sticks are built to have false negatives. You have a great pee stick histroy. Don't lose faith!

Snowwhite - I'm so happy to read your news. Sounds like you both are taking a great step with going to counseling. Take all the time you both need to take the next step in family building together. Good luck! I'm sure you will both come out of this closer.

Snowwhite, I was so happy to hear about you and DH. I think counseling will really help. Take all the time you need to make things right in your marriage first. I know your baby dream will come true. You are a very strong person. I'm very happy you're feeling better about it all.

Update:

I had some pinching pains in my Low Lower areaearlier today. Then when I went potty (as it seems like I do every half hour) there is really light brown spotting. I checked again and again! It is really faint and only shows on the TP. Sorry to overshare again. Is this ok? am I normal???
I still have lower back ache cramps too!

Can you believe I am actually at work working today?

Cramping and spotting can be a very good sign. Stay positive. I know how awful the 2ww is. Try to stay busy. Working is ok. What do you do?
