I posted this on other boards but also wanted to check here. I have been recently diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder after my m/c (lst attempt with IVF). On my next attempt I will be adding heparin injections. I haven't seen this problem on the board alot and I was wondering if anyone still got a BFP. I'm also dealing with a very bad case of PCOS.
Any info would be helpful.

I am taking Lovenox injections which is also a blood thinner and am pregnant with twins. I do not have PCOS and will be on the blood thinner for the entire pregnancy. I also had a m/c in December which is why my RE put me on the blood thinner.

Thanks so much for responding...it does give me help. It seems I can get pregnant but not maintain it. So, hopefully the blood thinner will help.

I was on heparin until my 36th week of pregnancy as I had episodes of bleeding all thru my 1st tri.I started when i was 4 weeks though..

Thanks Smita, your experience is very encouraging. I'm feeling better already. Although, the RE wants me to start before the cycle even begins...but whatever it takes, right

i had to take it my second time. first time while i was taking lupron i had a lot of bleeding.
the second time i did great.but i only took it before and about 2 or 4 wks after fet..

Keisha, I too have had BFNs in the past. My RE thinks it is from my positive APA (antiphospholipid antibody). I am currently doing a FET cycle with a transfer date of 4/26/07. I am taking baby asprin and heparin daily and have also added twice weekly accupuncture sessions.
