Hi Ladies,

I'm new to this thread but I'm in the midst of doing a new IVF cycle. I have a wonderful 16 mo old daughter from my last IVF attempt. I had the egg retrieval done today which yielded 10 eggs. I will know tomorrow how fertilization went. I did Lupron, Gonal-F, and Repronex this time and now it's time to start the Estrogen Pills and Progesterone shots. We hope for the best and as you all know the waiting is the hard part. The doctors estimate the embryo transfer date to be either Weds or Thurs this week. I will know the results right after my 37th birthday. Best wishes to all of you that are awaiting results or are in the process of treatment. Take Care!

Jessica darling, you gave us such great and positive news. It is leaving me in perfect positive mood for tomorrow retrieval.

I thank everyone for support; you girls are all such a wonderful bunch!!! I’ll try to let you know tomorrow how many eggs we got. I have 7 follies so if we get 4 eggs out I will be ecstatic!!!

Hi,
I had my US and BW today I have 20 follies so far (some are smaller than the other ones). My doctor is increasing my lupron dosage so I won't ovulate too soon.
Also, i got a call form the nurse and she told me that they found mycoplasma in my DH sperm and me, also he has strep bacteria in his sprem as well, ( sorry, it is too much info, I know) and I am completely freaked out about it because we both took antibiotics for mycoplasma and it didn't work!!
Now we have to take antibiotics again and they are not going to reculture us anymore because we are getting to close to the retrieval day ( it actually might be moved up to this sunday insted of monday), what if the pills won't work again, mycoplasma causes miscarriage, I am so so upset about it, I don't know how they are going to fertilize the eggs with bad sperm either. Has anyone esle here had the same problem?

Vlada - I'm so sorry about the stress of those cultures. Mycoplasma can be a tricky bacteria. I bet you'll get it this time. Not to restate the obvious, but sometimes the antibiotics have some real specifics instructions that aren't spelled out (like not to take withing 2 hours of an antacid or calcium supplement etc) Just to be sure youre getting the best our of the meds ask the pharmacist for the instructions. I've been suprised how much the bioavalability can be affected. The great news is your eggs. WOW! Good job!

Hello to all April buddies and my fellow insane, I mean 2ww'ers. This 2ww is going about as quick as a subtitled documentary on safety hazards in soap making industrial plant. Hopefully work tomorrow will bring my mind off the obsessing. I keep remembering my last pregnancy symptoms and feel bad for not having them yet. I have to remind myself I had ER only 6 days ago I'm just not a patient person!!

Valda, I am sorry to hear of the stress you are gttin, try not to worry to much, easier saiod than done i do know, but what will happen will will happen if u worry or not, ad worry makes the body worssen, so try to chill. I cant believe that they only just seen ur dh has bad sperm..... not all of its bad so i am sure they can inject one good sperm into ur eggs.

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to jump on board, i haven't been in touch for a while, we started our 2nd cycle yesterday after waiting for AF to arrive which arrived late the only month we wanted it on time, then nearly couldn't start due to staff holidays, but we did thank goodness, don't think i could of waited another month. We are doing ICSI short protcol, EC for 30th April.
I hope you are all well and not stressing too much on this roller coaster.

JesJess- Congratulations .

I had transfer on Sun and dont know how to feel emotionally or physically? Should i be feeling anything physically at this stage because i have a few twingers and pains but nothing big i have never before been pregnant so i have no idea i have been reading posts and it sounds like everyone has different things. And i have read even the people that have no symptoms come out with a BFP, i really dont know what to think and its really hard just going with the flow. In Australia we are only allowed to put 1 emby back in, even if it was a choice i dont think i would put anymore in i am in a state just wondering how the 1 is going, i am a very impatient person and this is really testing me. Our cycle went really well and we got 5 to freeze. So thankful.

Daly and Donna my 2ww buddies so you are both going slowly demented well so am I am going from happy to sad in mins. feeling sick ut putting that down to nerves and af pains but get them no matter what way it goes. Got to keep remembering that we are all different and i will not now until i test. determined to stay away from HPT. Ment to say i amon gestone im injections for progeterone and pesseries and if you use the back door it is no mess and none come out. i was told i could either use front or back but back was preferable. whoever invents patches will become very rich!!!!!!

We only transferred 1 embrie. I have a unicorn uterus and will be at a higher risk of m/c so I decided no to take the risk.

ET Day - I was so excited for the transfer! I guess realising that this is finally it. Had bit of cramping on ET day and feel extremely tired all the time. Oh well its only Day 2 so I cant winge just yet

As for me, I gotta run. I have an E2 (Estrogen) check this morning. They are afraid of OHSS cause I have all those lovely eggs left in there.

Donna Lots of AF cramps but had them when i had bfp an dbfn before so cant read too much into it. feel so bloated and my tummy sticks out i look 5 months pregnant already!!!!!!!!!!

I am just hanging in there. I am at work today. I am trying to keep my mind off things. Are you testing next monday?
I am bloated too! But not as bad as I was after the ER and ET!

It is kind of complicated for me re test. i do my blood test on Sat but dr is on holiday and will not be back till Mon am. so i will prob do a HPT on sat morning and go into London for blood test.

What day do you test????

The Clinic has me testing on the 26th. I know you and daly had your ET the same day as me, so I think if I take a HPT on Sunday the 22nd it should be accurate.

I feel so crappy today. I feel tired, like I haven't slept for two weeks, I feel nausious, lower back ache cramping and bloated and gassy! I just can't focus here at work today.

The weather here is Ohio is cold too, pretty morbid!

What state are you in?
