Cat honey I'm so jealous!!!! AN E cup wow!!! I'm a normal very small C and I'm not quite in a D cup yet, but believe you me I keep trying on the only D cup bra I have waiting for it to fit.

I had my first appt. with my OB today. I had so much fun! They gave me TONS of samples and reading materials. I also got another ultrasound done and we actually saw both babies move. Heartbeats were very high, 182 and 180. My husband and I are counting down the days to our first milestone of 12 weeks.

My nausea is getting better every day. Still feeling bad but I think I am just learning to deal with it better.

Oh...and most importantly...I bought my first pair of maternity pants today. I can no longer get into any of my jeans. I have gained 8 pounds since getting pregnant. I have a little baby belly already!!! I'm loving it! How is everyones elses belly's looking???

Hugs to all!!!

Cool rebecca maternity jeans!!!

I put weight on during the IVF (about 7 lbs) and i reckon i have put on a couple more lbs since then but dont care. I am at the stage where i have about 3 pairs of trousers that fit but wanted to wait until after my scan (in 7 hours) before i bought anything new really.

I hope we are having twins but wont be disappointed if its one ickle beanie.

Cant wait for my midwife appointment either but another 3 weeks until then.

Chat later

Hi all

Just been for first scan - was amazing! There is one baby and not two but we are very happy with that!! You could see its little baby heart beating and it was very strong apparently. The nurse said there is a 1% chance of miscarriage now so i am hugely relieved!!!

Have another one scheduled for next week - cant wait

2nd ultrasound update

Post by MommyTfive »

I had my 2nd ultrasound today at 9w2d. The heartbeat was 180. Baby measured 9w5d. Everything is right on schedule. We go back on May 7th for our third and final appt and then released to regular OBGYN. I am to stay on Progesterone until week 12 and they will slowly wean me off. I cannot wait. I am still amazed that I am this far. I am still a little sick but it is getting better. I have had a few good days lately. As for the maternity clothes, I had to break down and buy a pair of jeans and they are the most comfortable thing to wear. I am so glad I did.

First of all I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to EVERYONE here!!
I am so glad that we can all get together and share our experiences. It makes it really easy to go this all this knowing you are not alone.

I had another US on thurs and it was amazing, the baaby now measures 2 inches and was very defined and this was on the old plain jane sono machine. It was so active and moving, jumping, and turning around.
I cannot tell you how great it feels to not have to hide anymore and it is like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I am officially 12 weeks now. I stopped my progesterone on thurs too but have not had any side effects. My symptoms are still about the same not really changed a whole lot except I feel a little better I think that is because of less stress now that I know this baby has a great chance of survivng.
After appt my mom and I just sat in the parking lot and cried, because we have been trying for this baby for 14 yrs. I still believe I am in shock over the whole thing. I have felt some fluttering too I started feeling it last week but wasn't sure until it just kept on and when we had sono the baby was right were I had been feeling the fluttering.
I am in all maternity now, cannot wear anything else. I got a little pooched belly and these clothes are so comfortable.
Anyway guess I will go for now see you all later I will not hav another appt until March 17th maybe then I will be able to tell what it is.!!!

Mom...

That is so wonderful! I am so happy for you! Isn't it amazing to see all the acrobatics going on inside. I've seen somersaults and even saw one twin, get the other going. I laughed so hard, I sent the poor thing flying across the sac it was in. Is your m/s done? Mine is constant, all day, everyday. UGH

As for me, I met with the OB last week and he wants me to meet with a high risk specialist as well. We meet with him this week and are having the nuchal fold test done on Tuesday. The fresh embryo had all the genetic testing done prior to transfer, but not the frozen one, so dh and I are definitely nervous about it. The OB also told me I will be having a c-section due to the same reasons he wants me to see the specialist. (twins and the blood thinner that I'm on for the duration of my pregnancy.) Anyway, I too am in maternity pants and had to buy new bras this weekend. Although I've lost 6lbs since I've been pregnant, nothing fits and I'm definitely showing. I've told them at work, so it's wonderful to just let it hang out. Start my 12th week tomorrow. Yipee!

Hope everyone else is doing well and feeling super!

hugs,
Ange

Hi Ladies!
I know I haven't been in here lately but I've been reading all your updates. I am so happy for everyone. Reading your stories brings tears to my eyes. I am so happy that what we all have been waiting for, for so long has finally come true. I don’t even know you ladies and I am so over-joyed for you!

Mom, I cried when reading about you and your mom crying in the parking lot. That is so wonderful. Yes, you made it!! With all that you have been thru I know you were so nervous. But here you are! 12 weeks and going strong!! YIPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! :P

Ange--I have to laugh about your little ones and their acrobatics and you making one fly to the other side. lol Last ultra sound I had we also saw the babies flipping around and swimming. lol

My next ultra sound is on Wednesday. Then on Friday I have a 3d-4d ultrasound and a consult with a specialist. My regular OBGYN wants me to see someone that specializes in multiple births.

Morning sickness hasn't been too bad lately. It comes and comes. I'm hoping it's almost the end of it. I feel great during the weekends (thanks kids lol) but during the week, I feel the worst. :-( I can already tell my little ones are like their mommy. They don’t like Mondays. Or it could be the total opposite. They love Mondays and that's why they are so active and making me sick starting on Monday. :-)

Boobs are so sore and heavy. OMG!! When I remove my bra, it feels like I have a brick attacked to my chest. But I feel it more in one than the other. TMI ALERT...Before I got pregnant I had one boob that was much bigger (noticeably bigger) than the other. Now since I've been pregnant, the bigger boob has continued to get bigger. Can't really tell if the little one is getting any bigger. I was looking forward to getting pregnant so the little one could catch up. No such luck yet.

I'm now wearing maternity jeans and I love them! They are so comfortable. lol I have a few maternity shirts but I think maternity shirts make you look more pregnant than what you are. lol I also purchased the pants extender belt that someone mentioned. It's the best thing ever. It extends your pants with elastic and it has a button and a loop to fasten it. It's probably best to wear long shirts with it. lol

I'm still feel pains and twinges here and there. And it hurts like the dickens sometimes when I sneeze. :-(

Also, another TMI alert. Is anyone experiencing a little leakage of urine when they sneeze? I absolutely hate this! My SIL says it's normal but it usually happens later in pregnancy. I think all my symptoms have escalated. Also, my belly button (navel) has started to stick out a little. I heard that’s supposed to happen later also. Mine is just starting to poke out a little. I also have bad gas at times.

Has anyone experienced a leg cramp yet? OMG!! A friend of mine was just talking to me about the painful leg cramps you sometimes get (mostly while sleeping). I think she jinxed me because I experienced it for the first time this weekend and I thought I was dying. I guess I stretched in the middle of the night and....WOW...out of no where, leg cramp in my calf area. It was the worst feeling ever. DH helped massage it and then I walked around the bedroom for about 5 minutes. I can tell you it wasn't easy to fall back asleep. :-(

Well I think that's the latest with me. Prayfully, my little ones are doing just fine and growing and developing like they should be. I get to see them again on Wednesday and will probably have more of an update for you all.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Healthy babies to you all!

Hi everyone

Just a really brief post cos I've got my Dad and Step Mum with us, so can't be too anti-social and stay on the computer all morning!

So exciting that we're all getting to the 12 week stage ok - def time to start celebrating!!

I've got my oscar on Thursday, so fingers well crossed for that!

Now - about the accidental pee thing... PELVIC FLOOR EXERCISES

SO important... If you haven't heard of them, please read on as I attempt to explain... they help strengthen the muscles that form a sling under your pelvis and hold everything 'in', including your growing baby.
If you exercise them, you shouldn't get so much leakage or accidental peeing, say if you sneeze. So next time you go for a wee, try deliberately stopping the flow (just once) so you know what it feels like - the muscles you use to do that are the pelvic floor muscles. You need to repeat this action (but not whilst weeing!) about 100 times a day. You can do it anywhere cos nobody will know! Try doing four lots of 25 - holding the muscles for 1 second, then 5, then 10 etc until you are holding as long as poss. Or you could try 25 quick muscle 'pull ups'. Anyhow give it a whirl - can't hurt!

My doc recommended continuing to do them for a few months after birth - which I did when I had Will, and so far no probs with this pregnancy ;)

OK must dash - good luck!

Hi there

I started my 10th week today and i still have very severe morning nausea and have a little tummy even though i am only carrying one!! I think if you have had fertility treatment you are likely to gain weight doing that before you even get pregnant so i think thats why we tend to look pregnant more quickly than normal.

Have already purchased some maternity clothes - its so exciting shopping for a bump!
