hi guys, whos getting ready for jan time...a bit early i know and dont mean to take the dec strand over but i just want to get going again and find out who my buddies are! luv fi

Hi Fi We are starting Jan We have just failed a natural fet 10th Nov and failed our 1st ivf in July so hopefully 3rd time luckly? The good news is that we are having our nhs go we found out on my birthday on Tues so it was a brill birthday present. Its not too early on fertility friends there are lots of us on the Jan/Feb cycle buddies tread already. I'm looking into acupunture might start in before treatment as I have read pos things about it,are you doing anything to prepare you for treatment I am going to start and lose weight but I have been out drinking all week for my birthday and I have had 2months not drinking so I am making up for lost time!!! Hi there, I plan to start my first IVF cycle in January too - I am going into hospital this Saturday for a laparoscopy to see how my tubes are, if my tubes are severely damaged they are going to remove them and if they do remove them I will have a longer recovery time but hopefully it should be all systems go for January.

Hi all, I am expecting to start again early Jan as well, 5th ICSI cycle but only 2 have made it to ET so far, but still clinging to the belief that it WILL happen one day. For those of you who are just starting out you will find this site keeps you going through the ups and downs, I really don't know what I'd do without it. Am now starting to get impatient to get going Debra - AF is your period (Aunty Flo(w)), EC =egg collection, ET = embryo transfer, tmt = treatment, DH= darling husband. kat - it WILL happen for you...we have to keep going. called my clinic and they are going to let me go for a natural FET which I am pleased about. day 21 prog bloods this month then guess would be looking at transfer around 23rd jan depending on af...would have been christmas day otherwise!!!!!!!!!!! but unfortunately no clinic !! that would have been fun though. anyhow really looking forward to getting to know all of you and holding your hands...... oh happy days (!?) luv fi

Hi all I`d like to join you too if i may, due to start first attempt on day 1 of af around 14th jan. Lost one tube to ectpoic 2001 and had remaining one removed sept due to hydrosalpinx have a highish FSH at 14 so very nervous can only afford the one go. Hoping i can find my way round these boards and i look forward to getting to know you all. love anna

Hi Guys I am joining too!! Had our bad news in July that my poor DH - no sperm. We have our first and only IVF/ICSI along with DH's biopsy mid - end Jan. I will know further definate dates once AF comes some time next week (funny how the bloody thing has been regular all my life - until now!!) Anyway, despite it all being fairly depressing, I am looking forward to getting on with things. On the up side, I am 28 and have no fertility issues, so hopefully that will be on our side. Hi Fi Thanks for your advice re drinking! Had a few last night and have vowed never again so hopefully won't be a problem over Xmas!! I'm feeling very sorry for myself today as went shopping for a present for a friends new baby boy and now I can't bear to part with the outfit I bought him. I spoke to her on the phone today for the first time since he was born and ended up in tears. Sorry to whinge but I'm so tired of the rollercoaster emotions. I know I should think myself lucky as I haven't been through half of what some of you have had to deal with. I need a good slap to pull myself together. Luv Dawn xxx
