second attempt, looking for friends

Hi my name is Kate and im 26years old, my husband and i have been tring to get pregnant for about 3years, about 18mths ago we went to a clinic. Long story! we had a attempt in november but didnt get thru to a transfer, not enought eggs, so we started again at the end of march. If there is anyone who wants a cycle buddy id love to chat

Hi Kate,
I am on my 2nd round of IVF this time with ICSI our 1st attempt was last summer, failed due to an egg problem so this is why we are doing ISCI and on short protocol. Maybe you should pop over to another board, there are threads for April/May cycle buddies, just jump on board.
I'm on my first week of injections and EC is scheduled for 30th April, this time it is so quick compared to last.

I am also on my second cycle of icsi. Last time it was in the month of december. Seven eggs were retrieved and only one fertilized. They said my response to the drugs was very slow so this time they said they are going to start on with high dosage. I do hope it works for us all. It is really verydifficult to cope with this situation. I am nowdays becoming too emotional. I am yelling at everyone but fortunately the people around me understand what iam undergoing and they are supportive. Dont know really how to cope up with. how are you guys managing.?

Hi yas, a am as well going thru the hole icsi, i go for my first scan on the 27th of cycle to see if everything is going ok. Its such a werid time for us all, so many feelings. My moods are crazy! . Its such a crazy world and so un fair but what can u do i guess.

Hi
Well i have just been for another scan and things going well, just been told to rest as much as possible. I have been having reflexology prior to starting which i found did relax me and i have just started acupuncture again, i did last time, but didn't feel very comfortable with her, i do wish i had found this different acupuncturist earlier, but never mind. I know these extra things cost, but they do help me relax.
What protocol are you both on, i can't seem to get my head around the short protocol that only takes two weeks, but it seems to be working.

We are on our second attempt of IVF, started the whole thing again from end of March. Not sure where you are up to at the moment, i am still on the nasal spray and in the blood test stage. and would like someone to chat to as we venture along another emotional path.

Hi, my name is Christina. My husband and I are also on our second attempt of IVF. We are schedulled for the week of May 14th but I was just in hospital for 3 days b/c my leg and arm were numb and tingling. After several days and many many tests no answers. Neurologist is concerned it could be hormones from the birth control pill or side effect from lupron. So bottom line is our cycle may be cancelled and I will be upset. We are so close and I just want to finish it out. Nobody around us understand just how invested we are emotionally and physically. Has anyone else heard of these side effects from lupron? I would love to hear from someone and have a buddy to help along the way. I thought the 2nd cycle would be easier but I guess it NEVER gets easier.

Hi all, i have just had my transfer done yesterday. I have my fingers crossed. My dr said not to do any hpt, as it is very possible it will give me a false test! so the blood test is in 12 days.

I am also on our 2ww, we finally got here after no eggs last time.
We had 2 transfer last wednesday, so another week.
How are you doing. I am fine feeling poistive one day, negative the next.

Hey emma, hows the long wait going?Two weeks seems to be taking such a long time, I have been having cramp like feelings, they are not there all the time! I keep thinking that af will turn up, i think im going crazy, goodluck to you emma, What day is your bt?

Hi Kate,
I think i'm going mad too, this really is a rollercoster ride.
I have been having cramps too, last night and today feel like AF is going to arrive, boobs are very sore to, think that might be the pessaries! and hot flushes. Feel very emotional, not very positive but DH is being very supportive.
I test a week today, if i can last that long, need to give myself a good talking to and get the PMA back.

OMG i have those same feelings, sore breast, hot flushes, the cramping has stoped for now, my BT is in 4days, really want to get myself a HPT but i think im just best to wait for BT.
DH is being very supportive, hes staying postive.

Good luck for your test, let me know the outcome, we get given a HPT and then if it is positive sorry not if when (PMA kicking in today) then we go for a BT, so the test is just sitting on my side shouting my name.
