Hi Girls: WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO! I can barely contain myself:

I'm SUPER EXCITED!!!! My two eggs divided perfectly into one (8) cell and one (9) cell embryo. CAN YOU FREAKIN BELIEVE IT. A 9 cell perfect A quality with no fragmentation. I've never had a 9 cell EVER. I wanted to scream. That bugger better stick! She handed me the picture, and I saw all those little circles and said HOLY SH** is that a 9 cell. She said it sure is and we don't see too many of those at 3 day. Well, At least I have never seen one from me, so I was thrilled. I wanted to leap off that table and hug that embryologist. So.... I'm feeling very positive. I am officially on my 2ww. I have some other questions for you guys, but my DH needs his lap top, so I'll ask later. You are all awesome!

Test is 5/3 EEK!

hi girls: can you describe 24 hr bed rest? I thought it was lying or sitting in bed. Today, my nurse said it was lying flat on your back only, no lying on side to sleep, etc...Have you heard of this? Last time they didn't tell me this. I'm a side sleeper, and I sat in bed to watch tv.
i got a bfn. What did you guys do?

I hate it when they make us freak out like that, now this is only from my experience and time served but from all the lady's i have cycled with i have never heard of this at all, and most erm maybe 85% of the lady's i have cycled with that got BFP's not only had a really stressful time after transfer for many reasons but didnt have any bed rest. knowing this and also please know i would never do a single thing to risk you getting a bfp, i truly with all my heart feel that if your going to get pregnant you will get pregnant there is almost nothing you can do that will change whats going to happen (aside from hand gliding, horse back riding) that kind of thing, your beanie will not care its way too small to matter how you sleep.

also not sure if this is an advertisment (lol) but my mom had 6 children and slept on her belly the whole time, i didnt turn out too bad.

sleep well and send kisses to your little one.

love Aunty

Janice....

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy for you!!!! See your little angel is perfect already!

As far as bed rest after transfer, I had my transfer on a Saturday so I took it easy Sat. and Sun., back to work on Monday. Not complete bed rest, but I tried. I didn't have any special instructions on how to sleep.

Enjoy princess status!

hugs!

Thanks Aunty and Ange! I actually did end up turning on my side to sleep. I gave up the flat on the back thing at about 11 pm. My body was killing me. I can't help to think that it's got to be better to get a good night sleep on your side then be on your back miserable and uncomfortable all night. I stayed in bed until about 8 am, today and then just took it easy most of the morning. I did go out for about an hour this afternoon with DH to the store and to lunch. Then I went back home and laid down for a few hours. I've been up since, just taking it easy watching tv on the couch, etc... I believe that nothing is going to affect the implantation. If it's going to stick, it's going to stick. Women get pregnant every day doing all kinds of things, and sleeping on their side. Just think. If you find out your pregnant naturally, people don't go back to bed for two weeks. heee hee. I'm back to work tomorrow, and have a pretty busy week ahead of me. UGH! It worries me because I'm a decorator, so I do walk stairs, carry books, etc... I'm just going to try not to carry too many, and do the best I can. It does stress me out a little, but again... Women get pregnant every day working, right??

OH, I had an HCG shot the day of transfer. I didn't have that last time. How long is that in my system. I may cheat and do a HPT like Friday. Is that too soon. That's like 9 days pt.

hi ladies, sorry iv'e been MIA, just needed some time out.

BWHD, so glad you made it to ET, good luck on your wait not long now.

Hope everyone is ok.

as for me, my clinic forgot to pass on my notes to the relevant clinic, by the time i got it sorted i cannot get an appointment until may 24th, a full month late. the tests will then take 10 weeks to come back so the soonest i will be cycling again is August, very frustrated and been quite upset but have accepted it now and will be patient. i will take the time to try to lose some of the weight i have added over the IVF courses, and enjoy the summer with my DH as will hopefully be our last one without children. still no word about whether my NHS funding will be re-instated.

take care i will keep in touch.

Jayne, it's very good to see you, im so sorry you ahev the delay's they can really crush you once you are ready to go, but your right you get to make the most of your last quiet summer

I understand the MIA i was too for a while, it does us good sometimes, if i get a move on maybe we can cycle together  How come your NHS has been suspended but noone elses has that stinks do you need us to lobby anyone?...i will write letters for you.

Jemima ooo i have been thinking about you, its very good to see you, and i love your ticker is moving closer now, im excited.

Mom you never have any luck with AF, i would have thought with your actual EC and ET being a little way off the antibiotics would matter, i know a couple of women who where given them during treatment i would ask your Dr better safe than sorry. fingers crossed no it wont.

Janice good for you, you sleep comfortable your little one is all snug, as for working i remember a woman who ran a club with her hubby i think about 3 days into her tww her staff walked out left her and her hubby doing all the work day and night, she worked so hard she would log on in her 2 hours off and was sure no way had this worked...yeah you guessed it shes pregnant. send a kiss to your beanie from me please.

loads of love to all Aunty

Hi aunty, thanks for the reply, hows the house move going? also are you going to cycle again? i hope so it would be great to cycle together again.

my funding has been suspende as north Yorkshire health authority have run out of money, they have delayed for 3 months of the last tax year and are deciding what funding will be reinstated this year if any! If you are nearing 40 you can still get your treatment, so if they cancel altogether i will not get my free go until next year. as i will only be 38 next tuesday, nothing we can do about it. although its local elections so if a candidate turns up on my doorstep god help them, as i have no NHS dentist either, what am i paying my national insurance for? DH keeps laughing at me when i start.

take care

Wow nice to see people chatting here again. I leave for 3 days and actually got to catch up a lilttle.

Janice I am so so happy that you got your perfect bean and wishing you all the best on that 2ww.Praying that you get your BFP this time. 8)

Aunty I hope that all is well with you nice to see ya!! Sure missed ya.

Beachbaby - I do hope that all goes well. :)

Mom I hope ya feel better soon :D

As for me the day before my scan to start Lupron I was in the regular DR office with what they thought was gallbladder attacks. SO I scheduled my appt for sono to find out too bad there was no appt till Monday. BUT I went to RE for baseline anyway and just asked if IF it was my gallbladder if I could continue my cycle and she said she did not think that if I ended up with the worst case and needed surgery I would have to stop.
STOP after all the wait. DAMN..... anyway I ended up in the hospital that night (Weds) to find out that yeah I had to go for emergency surgery Thurs. So depressed I didn't want to hear them say I had to stop I called RE office and they had one of the DRs call me back in my hospital room. Dr Asmar to my suprise said that if I wanted to continue I could YEAH WOO HOO..... So DH snuck in my needle with a double dose of Lupron and my pills. He was so silly pulling out of his jacket like he was a lil kid hiding something  .. It was so cute. Oh well...

I hope everyone is doing well and having a great weekend.

XOXO,
Steph
