Dilni_f I agree with reward74. It's just too early to tell and your body is going through alot of hormonal changes. Your estrogen is dropping from stopping all of the stim meds just like it does before your period. Be patient and positive. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Reward74 I'm sorry you have to wait until Mon. I hope your body gives you a sign today that everything is okay. Keep busy.....the distraction helps. I'll be thinking of you!

I am on the 2ww. I had my ET (3 day) on April 12th. I did an HPT. It is negative. Is that too soon? When should I do the HPT and what kind? I used the first response early detector!

This is a rollercoaster for me.

I have cramping (like period cramps) since the day after ET, my boobs hurt, once in a while I feel nausious....

Help!!!!

doddo72 Do not test again until at least 10d post transfer. There is still a 50% false neg rate at day 10 so only test if a negative result will not make you worry excessively. I used clear blue easy +/- which can detect low levels---I believe 25. I'm not sure about the brand you're using but you can go on line and they have the levels needed for a positive for each brand. Good luck and keep us posted.

Dolly123 good luck tommrow and post us as soon as you know...mabey twins??

Is it Monday yet? Gosh... this is worse than the two week wait. My new motto is, if nothing has come out, it is still in there... even though my symptoms maybe almost non-existent. Thanks for the words of encouragement! Please keep us in your thoughts.

I can't wait to hear Dolly123's news!! :)

Thanks IVFMOM1

Did you have any feelings of being pregnant?
When does implantation usually occur?
Sorry for all the questions!

Thanks,

Reward74 any symptoms today? I hope you're hanging in there.

Dolly123 any news........we're dying to hear from you!

Doddo72 from what I have been told blastocysts usually implant in 2days and Day 3 embryos 3-4 days. The only pregnancy symptoms that I have had are fatigue, urinating a ton and hunger and I did not really feel much of that until 10d post transfer. No breast tenderness and no nausea. You're going through so many hormonal changes that it's hard to tell what's what. I hope your body starts to give you a sign but if not just be patient.

Well ladies less than 24 hr for my US.....I'm dying. I don't anticipate much sleep!

Hi guys,
Just came back from work and could not wait to write...btw i could hardly sleep last night because of anticipation...my US went well...I could clearly see one round emb in the uterus and there was another elongated one...the nurse (before the doc had arrived) said i have a single and the elong. one is something else...however the doc. said it could be two and their shape does not matter at this stage. I have to go back in 2 weeks on 5/3 for another US that is when i would be able to hear the heartbeat and they would tell me my due date. Once again i have started counting days...i hope everything will be fine during the two weeks...i thought i was feeling some uneasiness this afternoon but that could just be hunger :)

Doddo72 - i had cramps too...infact when i sneeze it feels as if i have pulled a muscle in my stomach...these days i am usually tired and want to sleep after i come home from work...

Ivfmomof1 - i am soooo excited for you...and wish you all the best for your US!!! Keep us posted ...we will be waiting to hear from you :D

Nope, no symptoms. The only thing I have is when I sneeze I too feel like my uterus will pull out of me. But, that could just be residual effects. I am just not sure. My boobs don't hurt, aren't swollen and it looks like my road map may be going away. My stomach has gone down and isn't as swollen as it has been. I have been hungry but I wonder if that's not from stretching my stomach out from all the food I have been eating. I am still sleepy but that too could be the progesterone. I just can't worry about it. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Glad to hear from you Dolly. Glad everything went well!!

Hi ladies, I just got back from my ultrasound and things look awesome!! Only one embryo which is a sigh of releif. We got a heartbeat at 108 bpm! So I go back in another week to have another US and if things continue to look good I will be released to the OB. I have to continue on the progesterone and elected to continue shots because the suppositories are twice a day and I didn't want to feel the mess at work. Thanks to all of you for your support. Big congrats to Dolly123!! Now just keep the good news coming!
I hope you're all doing well.

Congrats IVF MOM 1.

That is great news.

Today I am 9 days past 3 day transfer. I took two HPTs.

One was clear blue digital
the other was first response......

I know I probably should have waited...but here are the results?
Clear Blue Digital NOT PREGNANT
Forst Response, there was a faint line. It showed up within 60 seconds when I took the test. It is super light but it is there. I am still looking at the test, and it is still there.

Does that mean I am BFP???
(I even woke up my oldest son and he said yea mom i see it, but it is really light.

Help Me!
Its only 6 am and I can't go back to sleep!

Donna wait 2 days and test again and see if it is getting darker. If it is you are pregnant. There is a slight chance that some HCG from the shot is still in your system but it sounds like you might be off to a good start!
Be patient and try not to drive yourself crazy. Keep stress levels low and visualize embies in your uterus attaching and growing. Do something fun today to get your mind off of things. Keep us posted.

Reward74 how are you doing??? Any positive signs?? Thinking of you.

Ivfmomof1-this is wonderful news!!! yeaaaa..... :D It feels like a miracle how the tiny little emb. has a heartbeat...i am just waiting for my next US to hear it...it is going to be a hard wait...

Reward74 - i don't think you should lose hope at all...we are still pretty early in our cycles therefore you may not have the symptoms...plus everyone's body reacts differently...We will be praying for you on Monday...all the best... :D

Doddo72 - hang in there...when do you go for your beta HCG?

My RE has advised me to start taking only half a shot of prog. for next 2 weeks will the US. He has added another dose of folic acid though...i guess just to be on the safe side if it is infact twins...DH has been reading about the positive effects of omega3 and so i am taking 1 800mg tablet every two-three days...dont want to overdo it...

I have a girl at work who has a similar physique as me and she is due in Sept. through natural preg. but she does not look very preg...i think my stomach has bloated due to progesterone since the emb.s are still so tiny
...i cant fit in most of my pants...

Congrats Donna!! I'm so happy for you! It seems like our thread has produced alot of positive results. Now just sit back and relax until Thurs.

Reward74 We will thinking of you tommrow and sending positive energy your way. I hope you're hanging in there and that your embie has given you some sign that it's still in there and growing.

Dolly123 I'm jealous that you get to cut back on the progesterone. I have to stay on the full dose  So I guess the bloating will continue and I will look pregnant well before I am supposed to show. Finding clothes that still fit has been a challenge. I guess I can't complain...I'm pregnant!! I still worry about miscarriage. I found an article on line that puts my rate at 13-14% even after seeing a heartbeat (the rates are by age). I will feel better if we see the heartbeat again on Fri. The worrying never stops. My last pregnancy I worried that I would lose him until the day he was here in my arms. Now I worry that something will happen to him. When you go through so much to have a child you never stop worrying and you never take them for granted. I really think the process has made me a better mother. Now the cycle starts again and it's not any easier the second time.
