HPT=BFP Beta soon, what were your HCG Levels?

Post by doddo72 »

Hello,
I am 10dp3dt and I have been taking HPT's this week. Yesterday it was a faint positive, today it is a lot darker. I go on thursday for my blood test,

What were your HCG numbers. I am curious what the difference is between singleton and twins...

We had put in 2 embryos 1 that was 8 celled and one that was 9 celled that were very good embies....

Thanks,

Donna

Hi there, congrats on what sounds like a possible BFP! I too had some positives on my HPT, and then when I was 14 days past 3dt my number was 671. It was high, but I ended up with a singleton. Good luck and let us know what ends up happening.

Try not to read too much into numbers I'm a perfect example! My first beta was 129 at 11 dpt by second beta 2 days later was 292. So yes they doubled but they were not extremely high and I am 10 weeks pregnant with twins. I've seen ladies on here that have had much lower betas and had twins too. Now if your numbers come back off the charts then I might stay it is ok to suspect twins right away. I guess the morale is that it is just so darn unpredictable!

Either way...CONGRATS...your pregnant!!!! Let us know how your betas come out!!!!

I took an hpt at 8 days after my transfer & it turned immediately. My beta was 779 at 10 days after a 5 days transfer & 1958 2 days later. I am having twins but, there are alot if women having twins that had very low numbers & vice versa. It can sometimes give you an idea but, mostly just tells if you have a healthy pregnancy.

Donna...

I am one of those who had low betas and is pregnant with twins. My betas 8dpt was 16, 10dpt was 159 and 14dpt was 600. There was no way I thought I was pregnant with twins. Needless to say, I almost fell off the table at the 6 week sonogram and saw two heartbeats. It was wonderful.

Good luck to you! A faint line getting darker sounds good. I had bought myself the hpt that says the words 'pregnant' or 'not 'pregnant' so I didn't have to negotiate with lines.

Keep us posted,

today at 13 dp3dt my HCG is 163. I hope that is ok.

Rebecca- My birthday is 11/21!!!!

IF my HCG doubles correctly, can someone tell me what it should be in 7 days= 20 days past 3 day transfer?

They did an US today cause I had some cramping on my left side. Must have been gas! :P They said it is too soon to see the embies, but that my lining was really thick with a little bit of fluid in my Uterus. They said that was good...(early stages of pregnancy)..and they can't see the embies until my chg is atleast at 1200.

I worry so much that I will miscarry....

My first beta was 255 and then my second was 577. I still worry about the u/s and possible chances of a miscarriage.

Donna,
I know it is easier said then done by telling you not to worry. I worried, day in and day out, and I am officially beginning my 12th week today and guess what. I'm still worrying.

Your numbers look good though! Just keep taking good care of yourself and you will be fine. I had a lot of period-like cramping from about week 5 to about week 10 so don't be alarmed if you are experiencing this. It is normal as long as there is no bleeding!

Hang in there I'm wondering if you will be hit with the lovely morning sickness or all day sickness as I like to call it. I have been sick as a dog since about week 7. While I know this is a good thing, I'm ready for it to pass!
