Hola

Well hoorah!!!! The docs at the fertility clinic weren't very impressed with my bleeding as it looks like old blood. They were also unimpressed by my pain. Anyway, they did scan and....
1 little malteaser sitting where it should be! She said it was too early for heart beat but that she could def see something but couldn't say "officially". No matter!!! I saw its little flickery corazon! Hello!
Going back in a week for another scan.
Man alive - I feel weird, phased and absolutely knacked - didn't sleep at all last night. I will be zen from now on I promise - no more hyperventilating!
Am now eating apple to feed up the 'teaser.

How's my lovers? Jen - doing mental af jig for you! Come on af venga! I can't wait until you have your S appt, will get to do any sightseeing???

Steph - once again your Tao wins out. I should have you on speed dial. Oh, how many minutes before you would tire of my constant reassurance begging..... How's little Faith?

Hello to littles, walsheroo and cam.

OK, I'm off for 34 weeks of bed rest
Love Lola

Dear Lola

Came back to see when your scan was and read your post. As you said you are pregnant so you really have to stop thinking the worst now. I know that the way we got there was stressful but now you have to relax, look after yourself and enjoy the experience as much as possible. If you eat well and rest when you can there is no reason why you can't have a healthy pregnancy. Bleeding in early pregnancy is fairly common and look at it this way, at least you got to have a scan so much earlier than anyone not having IVF. I found that quite reassuring and you'll probably carry on having than the usual amount of scans. Your doc will want to keep an eye on you! I can't remember when they can see the heartbeat but I think it's about 8 weeks, they would have been looking for an egg sack. Well done darling and remember your baby needs you to be relaxed!!

Hi Lola

Fantastic News - just wanted to say that I had small bleeds till I was 12 wks - just on and off dark blood - I called Hammersmith constantly to ask it if was normal, why is it happening - DO SOMETHING etc - they were obviously way wiser than me and reassured me it was nothing to worry about and in the end they were right...who'd have thought it.... I was absolutely positive that was the end of it.
Anyway just relax - hahahaha. As useful advice - has that ever worked?! Vicky

hello lovely octos...

...you know i promised to be zen from now on....
I'm really trying but I can't do it!!!! AARRRGGGHHH

Vicky thanks for popping in! Is so reassuring to know you had little bits of bleeding and still got gorgeous little lad. I'm still getting small amount of dark stuff. Wish it would stop then I could relax and get bit more excited! You're starting again soon?

Jemla la larrr - you will love B it is beautiful! Hope you are jigging for the af to appear like a good girl

Steph I picture little Faith in deer stalker hat with walking cane crawling up hills. There is always that worry that offspring will be antithesis of parents in some nerd throwback scenario. Thank you for offering free PMA spanking, I take it it is free????? I want to fast forward to 13 weeks NOW.

Camilla - love your lecture, will try and be more chilled

well 6 weeks! never been here before. Come on little 'teaser! grow grow grow!
OK lovelies, I'm off home early from work, too tired to do a single thing more!

Love like a whirlwind

 Hi gals

Just a quick note to tell you i got my appointment today for S, 15th May at 4pm----------aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhh
Am just panicking now incase af doesnt arrive. We need to do our fsh tests as soon as it arrives then send the paperwork over to IM. Think the time schedule will be tight but hoping everything works out ok.

Our hospital sent their paperwork today, its quite interesting to read about all my cycles and compare them. Wish i had taken off to S after the 2nd attempt as it looked like my chances were going downhill from there. The 2nd cycle was the best, with 8 eggs, 7 fert and 2 good grade 6 and 7 cell embies---it should have worked

Anyway no point in looking back in arger----que for a song there Loops, lets here your after 3-----------------------------------

Love ya and leave for today

Hi Ya-Yas!

I am back from 2 days away. I was out doing "field work" in the pouring down rain. Plus, it was freezing! We are not supposed to be able to see our breath the last week in April... it is supposed to be sunny and springy! I want sunny!! Plus, the hotel that I stayed in was not exactly top notch.. all in all, it is fab-u to be home. Missed my babygirl! I have to go away next week for 3 days and 2 nights... YIKES! I don't think I am ready to be away for that long. I have been trying to come up with an excuse as to why I can't go... dog ate my homework? avian flu? women's problems... they never ask questions about that! any ideas?

Loops- i luv seeing your baby ticker!!!! how friggin cool is that! have you gone internet baby crazy yet? i luved looking at baby crap, so many cool sites. Or are you still at the "don't jinx me" stage? Don't worry.. soon you will me obsessing with having the coolest maternity shirts and buying stock in Robeez.

Jens- Must have been quite a read looking at your file.. I wonder what mine says... this girl is screwed!..... what did they know? hah! I have turned celebration dance into AF Polka for you. Spankys and all... nobody questions the power of the spankys! No fear Loops.. Demetrio is still dancing the night away for you... plenty of love to go around!

Walshy & littles... you fill me with sadness at your absense.

Well, I am out of the office again tomorrow......
chat you Monday!

Ahoy lovelies!

Jen - has af arrived yet??? Hope so. Just 2 1/2 weeks until big bad B. I can't wait for you to start now.

Steph - must be awful leaving Faith - can't you just refuse? Or pull a sickie? Could you take her with you? Who is baby sitting while you run rapids?

Hello other octos out there in the ether..... we miss you all.

well, I'm less stressed, I think I ran out of adrenaline supplies. I've been really nauseous the last few days but I don't care! Next scan on Monday, praying everything will be ok.... hang on, I think I found some adrenaline emergency supplies....aaarrrgghhhh.

Love, lola

 Hi Buds

Well i was out with the girls last night and drank lots but had a great time. Haven't laughed so much in a long time, felt like the old me again. Then Jmy ex-keychild turned up so i was a happy girl with MY boy about-----nearest i wil get to being a mum
Feel so tired today, i'm definately getting to old for this lark :?

Well AF arrived yesterday--------a few spots and nothing since, more confusing eh. I am meant to go for blood tests on the 2 or 3 day of AF but am a little unsure what to do, hopefully by Monday i will have a better idea.

Went to choose my tattoo today-------oh, i'm such a rebel. If you met me, you would laugh as i am not the sort of person to have tattoos but just want something to remember my babies. Am having a small lady with her head down sitting on a flower with angel wings and 8 stars above it to represent my 8 embies lost. The guy in the shop is designing it as we speak.

So how you all getting on? Hope Walshy and Littles join us soon, your both missed.

Sorry it short but i'm off for tea then an early night---old fart

Love always
