Reward- Congrats on a wonderful scan!! I'm feeling like you today because I feel like my symptoms have stopped. It's so nerve wracking and I keep worrying that the baby is ok in there. I don't know how I'm going to make it until Thursday's scan. I wish I could go today!!!

Cookholmes- Wow twins!!! Congratulations!!! I am thrilled for you!

Mrs. B- Best of luck on your scan today. Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Quita- How are you holding up waiting for your scan? What a test of your patience! We both have scans Thursday so let's hope we both have great news to report!

HI ladies Denise wow twins you must be so happy.
Reward congrats on your scan.
As for me we had our 9 week scan today although im 8w6days it was amazing it actually looked like a baby with little arms and legs i have a whole inch of baby now i then asked about the heartbeat and we heard it that was it i cried tears of joy it is the best thing ever it has made it so real. The baby looks like a jelly baby. We have our next scan on is on the 16th may at 12 weeks and my duedate is now the 27th.

I am so happy for both of you!!!! Those little heartbeats are amazing aren't they? Denise it looks like our little twins are going to be very close in age.

Pep, You're almost there, try not to worry. I know how you feel though. I had symptoms for the 1st few weeks & now nothing & I have twins & keep hearing that with twins I should be doubly sick. This happened with my last pgncy & mc at 9.5 weeks so, you can imagine my insanity.

Quita, that's some interesting info. My kids keep asking me when we can find out if they're boys or girls. I am like " Are you kidding me" Every week feels like a month, I can't imagine ever getting that far. Are you excited? Only 2 days to go. Good luck!!

Reward – brill news about the scan, it must have been such a lovely experience, bet you can wait for the 7th may to come now!!

Clarissa – I know where your coming from with the symptoms, I’m still yet to experience any!!! Apart from the sore boobs which again is there one day and gone the next. Love your DH’s way of thinking tho, you wait we will be whining about feeling sick soon lol

Denise – OMG twins you must be over the moon. CONGRATULATIONS .

Quita – hi honey, love your stats. How you feeling? Not that much longer until your scan now. Can’t wait to hear all about it.

Mrs B - so glad all is going ok. That heart beat must be something so special to hear, I can’t wait see and hear my little bean.

As for me I still have 2 weeks to wait for my first scan I just have to keep on doing HPT just to make sure I’m not imagining that I’m pregnant.

Quita – No I don’t work for Heat mag. I haven’t heard of it. Interesting stats that in America, the peak month for baby boys is June…we have 3 close friends with each a boy and all born in June. And of course I’m praying for you and hoping your scan goes well.

Pep – Good luck on your scan…I’ll be thinking about you. Try to stay busy and before you know it, Thursday will be here. My symptoms are off and on as well and it is driving me crazy.

Mrs B – Congrats on your scan. That is awesome to finally get to see the arms and legs of the baby and to get to hear the heartbeat. I am sure it was an amazing feeling.

Denise, wow twins!!! were you expecting that? Did the clinic say that your numbers were looking quite high or was it a complete surprise? Loved your DH's response, mine would faint!
Reward and MrsB so very exciting that you could see the heart beat, it must make it all seem more real.
My symptoms keep coming and going (well, I say symptoms really just sore boobs and thats it!) still I know I shouldn't wish sickness on myself.
Pep and Quite good luck for your scans. Pep I know how anxious having had a m/c makes you feel. I'm sure your clinic will be inderstanding if you say you want an extra scan or blood test to allay your fears. I had my last blood test today (I hope) and the numbers are back to doubling which would seem to indicate that the blip was no 2 not quite making it. I'm ok about this as we are really just hopeful to have a healthy baby whether its one or two. Next hurdle the scan on the 4th May! JesJes and SJBrown are my scan buddies - how pregnant will you be then? I'll be 6wks 2 days so hoping to see a heartbeat.

What if the five HPT were wrong and I've imagined the whole thing!

God I need to see those heartbeats and to know he/she/they are safe and are in the right place. Why do we do this to ourselves?


PS Clarissa Heat is an English Celeb gossip mag - you can probably google it if you so choose and Classia writes a column called "What were you thinking" in which she is very cheeky about badly dressed celebs. It very funny.

Thanks for your well wishes girls. Just to clarify, Tams I have never had a m/c. This is my first pregnancy. I'm just nervous because it took us so long to get pregnant that I'm still having problems believeing it's real!

I did see the heartbeat at our 6 week scan so now I just want to be sure at tomorrow's that my little one is growing and staying healthy!!!

I'll check in tomorrow with the update...

Hi December babies ladies!

Can I join your thread? I have been reading pretty much since it started but have been too scared to post in case things went pear shaped.
But, y'know? Lets be positive, so, I got a bfp on 10th April. Woo hoo! I've had a bit of bleeding so had a scan at 5weeks5days - 1 beanie! Didn't see the heartbeat properly, too small. Have another scan next monday - praying everything will be ok.

I know we're all over the moon about our fantastic bfps but did you ever think it would be this nerve-wracking? I worry about every twinge and don't get me started on symptoms, what symptoms? Driving me nuts - I love it!

Were they vaginal ultrasounds or on the belly ultrasounds?
