IVF CYCLE (MAY/JUNE buddies)

Hi ladies
I got my AF on 26th April and will be on BCP and then lupron shots.
My IVF/ICSI cycle will be in MAY /JUNE.
Thoso who got their AF around this time and will be going for IVF in may/June please give your updates here so we can cover the road together and share our ups and downs during the cycle.
Any help and tips from those who are ahead in their cycles is highly appreciated.

Hi Sharon!

I should be starting my cycle at the end of next week and Thursday I wil be getting a new list of medications. This is my 2nd IVF and with a different doctor.

I am a bit nervous this time. My RE has chaged the protocol this time.No Lupron .I am starting from Stims and then another inj. ganerilex will be added .
My first cycle was cancelled due to high E2 level
anyone with the same protocol???

Hey Sharon!! and the rest of the ladies!!

I got my AF on 25th April and started BCP 26 April.. I'll be doing Lupron shots in May sometime.. I get my calendar on Tuesday!!
My IVF/ICSI cycle will be in MAY /JUNE. Estimated date of ER Jun 4,5,6,7!! I'm so excited! This is our first IVF.. Praying sooooo incredibly hard!!!! Keep me posted.. maybe we can go through this together and keep each other up to date!!

This time RE has changed my protocol .I will be directly starting the stims and then genirelix will be used.
I hope things go right this time.

sharon - I think I'm on the same protocal as you, the flare protocal. I start injections tonight (menopur 6 amps a day for 5 days) then I go back for my followup scan next Thursday. I did the same protocal last time, stimmed for about 8 days total. I use Antigon to control my LH surge. My estimated EC will be May 8th. This is a great protocal for anyone that is a low responder. I had 5 eggs retrieved last time, only 1 was mature but it fertilized and I got pg.

But i am not a poor responder. Last time i had many follicles developing.
MY RE cancelled the cycle due to high e2 level.So my RE is trying follistin ,ganereilx thing this time.

I went to my RE after 2 days of stims. 150 iu for 2 days . RE said that i have a bunch of follicles in my right ovary and some little ones in the left . But they are very small and hope to catch up .This time she is doing close monitoring.
what's your updates??

Can I join? I had a failed IVF cycle in April...AF started the 25th...I'll be going back for the 3 frozen ones the 2nd week of June (give or take a few days.)

KAGNJ - yeah, that's great that AF finally arrived. Now you're on your way. welcome!!!

Sharon - that's good that your RE is watching more closely this time. Plus, you're on a low dose 150iu of your stims. I'm taking 450iu per day. I have a bad combo, poor responder AND only 1 ovary.

I go Thursday for my first scan after starting stims. When do you go back?

I will be going on wednesday again . My RE told me that my ovaries are nice and gets stimulated even on very low doses . All i need is few good eggs because i am going for a icsi cycle.

Me too, I'll be doing ICSI again. If we didn't last time, I probably wouldn't have gotten the one embie. I think my egg membranes are getting old like me.

Hi Jovigal, I read your message in the Aug 06 thread. I was just thinking about you yesterday! I was wondering if you would be cycling again soon and here your are. I'm glad to know that you are on your way again. GL I'll be praying for you everyday. I hope you get a bunch of eggs too. My PGy has been going well. I'm especially happy to be done with the nausea.

Being Pg with twins, I seem to balloning out rapidly in the last 2-3 weeks. We don't know the genders yet. I hope to find out in a few weeks. I look forward to your cycle updates. It won't be long now before you have your twins with you safe and sound.
