Vicki - I guess what I started to feel last night was kinda like cramping and pressure in my lower tummy but different than menstrual cramping - plus sore breasts/nipples once I removed my bra (sorry for so much detail) It's been a little strange since I was on the Estrogen and Progesterone for a week before I started getting mild nausea in the mornings. I found it strange that it didn't affect me from the beginning. When I went through this my last IVF try - the progesterone did not make me sick. So I am still erring on the side of caution and saying it's prob the medication - but it's definitely been a different experience this time around. I'm a couple of years older as well so that could be why I might be reacting differently to the meds. Still praying for a BFP so we will see!

Christine - Sounds like you will be next!

I have a question. Today is my 9th day of stims and my doctor said she didn't need to see me until Monday - day 12 of stims. I have lots of follies - 7 of which are around 10mm and a bunch that may catch upl. I am worried because last cycle I only needed 10 days of stims before the HGC shot. Is is a bad sign to need several days more of stims? My RE didn't seem worried. Has this happened to anyone else? I am wondering if it is age related.

geckogirl - I felt the same way this time. I had kept an Excel Spreadsheet to keep track of all the meds and dosages and tests, etc from my last IVF. (Call me a geek!) I duplicated it for this time and I had the same issue as you. I stimmed a couple of days longer than the last time since my follicles need to grow a little more before they could do the retrieval. My response to the meds was a little different this time - but it is completely normal. They want your follies to be approx 17-18mm to get the best mature eggs. And yes the follies can grow a lot in a couple of days. So hang in there - you are doing great. Good luck to you!!

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope you are all doing very well today! I am 9dpt with my blood test 3 days away so I tried a First Response HPT and it was POSITIVE. The line wasn't very dark but definitely obvious. I'm a bit excited but will keep low key and test each day until my blood test to make sure. I didn't have HCG at transfer so this might be the real thing:)

Wow....you ladies have been busy! Sorry I have been MIA but it has been really hard for me this time, with both sis-in-laws pregnant and everything. I am having my surgery on Tuesday and I hope this works. My new doc thinks it should only take 4-6 months and we sould be pregnant naturally. It is only day surgery and takes about 1 hour. They have to reconnect the tubes layer by layer...he better take his time...LOL I can try with my 1st cycle after my surgery. I should start mid-May and ovulate about May 26-30....if all goes well. We leave on vacation June 2nd so the 1st 2WW will go by quick. I am due to start 2 days after we get back.

You all sound so wonderful and I have missed you all.
