Karen,

Did you do any acupuncture treatment? for the second Ivf i did acupuncture and i have to say it does make a lot of difference and i personally feel it does help in egg quality and it reduces the cramps from ER. I am not even feeling tired but Dh has been telling me he feels nauseous since a few days now and he never feels like that....so i am keeping my fingers cross that its a good sign too...can you imagine we grab at anything to make us believe that we are pregnant.

Wow lots of new ladies on our thread! Welcome and we will be watching for many BFP's soon  ! The fatigue is killing me!! I don't remember my last pregnancy being this exhausting. I guess that means that things are going well. I go for my second US on Friday to make sure my embie's growth is progressing as expected. Keep the good news coming!

I did feel a few cramps around that time, but just thought it was the Projestron, so i am not sure. I did do a HPT and it came out positive and I am starting feel breast soreness, also DH is going crazy with nauseousness, i feel so sorry for him. I am hoping all of this is good and we get out BFP on Monday. I would say do not look too much for signs it will drive you crazy (i know easier said than done..lol). I have been doing acupuncture through this whole treatment and it does help a lot with the stress, also i have seen much improvement in egg quality and also cramps after ER. For my first IVF they collected 10 eggs and 5 fertilized, for this IVF with acupuncture they collected 9 eggs and 8 fertilized, with 3 of them grade 1 and the rest grade 2. Anyway just try to stay calm and keep yourself occupiBali

Bali,
Yes, I did acupuncture treatments every week for about 3 months before my transfer. I stopped as of 2 weeks ago. Hopefully that will have helped me. We will find out Monday! Yes, I know what you mean about grabbing onto anything to let us know we are pregnant. After reading all of the information yesterday, I went home and checked out my whole body! Time will tell.

Best wishes,
Karen

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum but not IVF. I have 9 year old IVF twin girls and just had 3 blast embryos transferred on Wednesday, so I'm in that dreaded 2 week wait. And of course I don't remember anything from 9 years ago. I do remember that I didn't have any symptoms and was very surprised when I had a positive test. I don't feel anything this time either.

I've been reading all the post here and I'm so happy for you all. Congratulations to those who tested positives. Send all your positive vibes to those of us still waiting.

I test next Friday, but I'm thinking about the HPT....I don't know yet.

Take care

tanu2007,

I am still on the accupuncture treatment, doing it once a week. After ET the treatment changes. Not all Physician agrees to do it after ET fortunately for me mines agreed for me to continue it after the 2 days bed rest but i rested for 5 days before starting it again. I get to do one just before ER and one day after ER but unfortunately not just before ET since the clinic was not sure if they were going to do a 3 or 5 days transfer and i was notified just 2 hours before that i will be doing the 3 days transfer, so there was no time for me to one before ET. Doing it now is really helping with the stress and waiting. Also it is supposed to be good for implantation. i would suggest you ask your Physician about it.

Yesterday i had a bit of scare, i started spotting but it just lasted for 30 mins or so and it was very light. I did two different HPT and both are still positive, so i am just waiting for Monday to do the test, I took of today from work so i can keep my feet up not sure at this time how much all these precautions help but its better than doing nothing.

Hope all you ladies are doing well and i wish all of us the best of luck!

congratulations since you got +on HPT. i am not planning to do it. i have one more week to test . Right now i am worried abt my urine infection. It really hurts a lot. i did go to my OB/gyn they have given a prescription which says safe to be taken during pregnancy. but waiting to get my urine results tomorrow.i am scared to take the antibiotic, but will definately start tomorrow.I did go for one more accupunture treatment yesterday. she suggests me to come next week also. but i may not go.
