Urgent advice required

Post by lolajones »

Hi guys

I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant and I've just had a big bleed. I've had minimal brown discharge for the past week, scan last monday showed 1 beanie in right place doing ok. About an hour ago a started bleeding, red blood, way more than spotting. Its easing but still coming. I don't have cramps just a wierd sensation in my pelvis. Is this a miscarriage? I am so scared. has anyone had this and still everything been ok? It feels impossible right now.

Lola,

Read your post, and I feel your fear. I had bleeding in week 5, before any scans, but it wasn't hardly more than spotting, but I had to wear a liner. NO CRAMPS is a good sign----I'm praying for you!!

Hi Lola

Sorry I don't have any personal experience for you but I've read about a lot of ladies who have bled during perfectly normal pregnancies....are you able to get another scan to put your mind a rest.

Good luck, wishing you all the best.

Lola,
I hope you and your lil un are fine.I had blood, though the red blood happened only on 2 ocassions and it eased off into brown spots-I guess you will have spoken to your clinic by now.
Keeping everything crossed for you.
Keep us posted.

Make sure you call your clinic. Put yourself on strict bedrest as activity can make you bleed worse. See if you can get an US. My close friend had several large bleeds that stopped with bedrest. She delivered a healthy baby but her pregnancy had to be monitored more closely and she had to limit her activity during the whole pregnancy. Good luck and we will be thinking of you.

Hi

Thanks for your replies.
After I posted the bleeding got worse so I went to A&E. Had scan that showed my beanie with a heartbeat. Went home and then had bigger bleed - so scary. Today had appt with my fertility clinic and despite expecting the worst, beanie still there! With strong heartbeat and right size for dates! I'm bleeding from outside the sac and there's a blood in the uterus but the cervix is closed. Anyway, they said that they'll monitor things but that it could go either way. My nerves can't stand it!
So I have another scan next Tuesday and I'm resting until then like I've never rested before!
Thanks again and please keep your fingers crossed for me and the warrior beanie!

Love, Lola
