I'll check back in later to see how all the other scans went today...

That's Image news, it's amazing to see the change, it's in our book but to see it on screen must've been magical :) .

Hello to all

Can you tell I'm back at work? I've hardly had time to come on here, and all I do in the evenings is sleep. I went up for a nap just after 7pm last night and hubby woke me up at 1.20am when he was coming to bed  .

So how is everyone, thanks for the nice messages to those of you that got chance to see the pics. It was a wonderful day and really can't wait till we have the scan. I'm totally over the moon at being pg, and will be even more if they've both stuck and we have twins.

Well I didn't get anywhere witht he nurse at the hopsital, but I went and registered the pg with our normal everyday doctor, and she agreed to me having a Beta, Progesterone and a Haemoglobin blood work done which I did yesterday morning. And as it was first thing, when I should've started work, when I got back and spoke to personnel, they say I get paid time off for antenatal appointments. So I should've been at work for 8.30 and didn't get in until 10.07 and I'll be paid for that. I wasn't even aware of that, but I have antenatal appts now, just saying that out loud sounds crazy and wonderful lol. Hubby and I keep laughing to ourself and saying ''we're pregnant'', we're going crazy with excitement over here. Hubby was so set on going baby window shopping last night, but after being poke about and then working until 18.30 I was in no mood to be taking my queazy self all over every baby store in town lol. I had to put the breaks on his excitement and just do a few places and the rest tonight.

So 1st Beta hCG level at 19dpt coming up
and 1st Progesterone level at 19dpt coming up.

Natalie - fantastic news also, and happy belated birthday. That truely was a wonderful gift. Just like my hubby getting a +++ hpt for his the other week, yours is one birthday you'll never forget :D , so chuffed for you guys.

Sonya - thanks for the lovely messages hun, and good luck for your scan. Not long now being 5 days away, but I bet it feels like a lifetime for you.

I hope everyone else is doing well, and feeling good. It's my moms birthday tomorrow, so will try to pop in sometime over the weekend.

TC and have a good one.

PS. I know it's perfectly normal, but none of my other pg's have been 'normal'; but as this is the first normal one I've ever had it's still weird getting AF type cramps.

Are you girls still getting stretchy ligament changes, and lower abdomen cramps and sharp twinges under your belly button; distance like the length of your little finger between button and pubic bone area?

I don't even think any of that made sence, if it did, pls feel free to reply lol.

Wow....you ladies have been busy! Sorry I have been MIA but it has been really hard for me this time, with both sis-in-laws pregnant and everything. I am having my surgery on Tuesday and I hope this works. My new doc thinks it should only take 4-6 months and we sould be pregnant naturally. It is only day surgery and takes about 1 hour. They have to reconnect the tubes layer by layer...he better take his time...LOL I can try with my 1st cycle after my surgery. I should start mid-May and ovulate about May 26-30....if all goes well. We leave on vacation June 2nd so the 1st 2WW will go by quick. I am due to start 2 days after we get back.

You all sound so wonderful and I have missed you all. I will kepp in touch!!!

Hi girls!!

I am totally confused!!

I seem to be bleeding 12 days after my last bleed. I am sure it's just coz my body is confused afte this failed IVF.
But can someone just add their thoughts on it??
I am confused!

I had the bleed, 6 days after the day EC should have been, and was still on synerol, the clinic said that bleed was because the progestone wasnt there to support the endo, and that's ok to bleed at the time, but it wasnt actually a period. and the next period could come any time???

So in 12 days could i really have build up, that much lining naturally to be shred???

So now do i count this as DAY one, again??

Oh an can i add, that ive just woken up, and its only a light smudging!! so not a real bleed, but heck i'm sure i'm about to full bleed, and typical. clinic already told me this i going to be a monster period with lots of pain, and im due to start work tomorrow, shit!!! thats all i need huh???

Arghhhhh!!!

Is this true? is the 1st period after failed IVF heavier and more painful??

We are off now to the coast, its a lush day!!!

I'll pop back on this evening,

Hey Girlies!

Hope you are all having a great weekend!!

Kia: I am soo jealous that you arent sick at all! That is great though!

Pep: Thankfully I am working for myself from home right now so I have been able to take it easy. I am so excited for you that you had another U/S! What a wonderful gift for your mother! I cant wait for my first one tomorrow!

Rae: Ohhh a boy! How exciting! Have you started to pick out names?

Q: Congrats on the twins I am sooooooo excited! What did DH say? I actually take a lot of calcium! Your twins are going to be stealing a lot of it from you sweetie!

Mama: I am so glad there was a heart beat! Take care of that lil one! If M/S is the sign of a strong pg then my child is superperson!

Marcia: I actually had the same stretching pains and still get them occasionally. Actually my U/S is tomorrow so fingers crossed!

Steph: So glad you will be able to move along so quickly! Woo Hoo you go girl! Guess we know what you will be doing May 26-30 huh! Good Luck! And go buy some sexy lingere

Nick: Sorry I am not sure about the bleeding I would call the clinic ASAP! Take care!

Well I am still having tons of M/S but have found some remedys that help.
1) Warm Ginger Ale
2) Keeping something in your stomach at all times
3)Make husband do everything and lay on the couch like the princess I am!
4) Sea Bands Motion sickness bands that use accupressure! These are probably the best thing I have found! They really do work!

We have our first U/S in the morning and we are sooo excited! I just cant wait to see the heartbeat so I know everything is ok.... and how many children we are going to have!! There is no way I am going to sleep tonight!

Love to All

Nicolamark, I am sorry to hear that it did not work for you this time, but I am sure you will have your baby. When we had our failed cycle, the period was not more painful, it just lasted a bit long for me. But of course I do believe that everyone may be different, so as was mentioned, you may want to speak with your clinic.

Hugs,
Denise

Marcia- All those feelings are normal although they would freak me out everytime I got them because they really do feel alot like Af cramps, but I think everything is just growing and making room in there so your gunna feel some cramping!!!

smattison- I am SO happy for you, I was thinking it was going to be alot longer before you would be able to have the surgery and start over, Im so excited that it all came so quick for you, I wish you the best of luck and be sure to keep us updated!!! a baby naturally , that's so exciting!!! Good Luck

Sonya- Good luck with your US tomorrow I cant wait to hear back from you!!!!

Nothing new with me just hanging in there!! Happy as can be!!! No morning sickness, I don't feel anything at all really, is that normal?? well I hope everything is good and maybe it will kick in next week or after that !

Sonya,

I'm so glad to hear the sea bands are helping you too!! A lot of people thought I was a weirdo when I told them in my first trimester that I treat whatever little m/s I had by wearing those.... But they work!!

We have indeed started to think of names... and have hit a wall!!! I have wonderful girls' names but not yet any boys' names that would be just right. DH thinks is just a matter of time but I'm starting to worry - I've gone through a couple of name books and nothing. The name is so important - it's got to be just right.

So how did your scan go?? I'm eagerly waiting for your news!!!

Hi ladies

Hope you're all ok.

Nic - I don't have any answers for you and I'm sorry your body's messing you about. What's your doc said about the stop start bleeding since you last spoke to them?

I hope it eases off and you get some answers.

Sonya - that's a really beautiful pic you got there, so happy for you.
I'm hoping we're just as lucky, as my hubby's dad's a twin and my mom's sister is a twin. You're family must be crazy with excitement as you guys clearly are. Well done on a happy scan day :D .

When do you see your midwife? Anymore pg symptoms?
I've started to get a metalic taste in my mouth since yesterday, along with more nausea and breast pain.

I hope everyone is having a nice day.

Chat soon.
