I just finished my first IVF...I had 13 eggs and 8 fertilized. I transferred 2 on 4/15. I orginally got a BFP but my hcg numbers didn't didn't double and I now have a bfn. I froze 6 embies and am wondering how long I have to wait before doing a FET?
Do I have to wait a few cycles or can I go for it once AF comes?

I had my transfer from my second fresh cycle the beginning of March. I got a BFP and had a m/c the end of March. I had to have the period after the m/c and then the period I’m having now (end of April) and then when I have my period the end of May, I will start taking my medication for the FET which will end up being in June. My doctor wanted me to wait (regardless of the m/c) to make sure all the stimulating medicine was out of my system. It seems like forever but I can see their point about wanting to make sure everything is optimal. Hope this helps. Good luck!

My RE told me we could start right away with the FET after my bfn--just had to get through one AF....somehow I got pregnant naturally while waiting! Good luck!

I went to my re today and he said that AF should arrive in a week or so...and then after the next AF I can start my med's for FET. So, I may be on the same cycle as you. However, I am supposed to be traveling for work around that time...so, I may have to wait until July! Either way...he said that I need to wait to ensure all of the med's are out of my system.
