Big scare!

It's me again.<br><br>I haven't even had my scan yet but had a minor spot of bleeding this am and pm and just a drop really each time. I have taken to my bed like lightning and have just emerged to communicate with you all. Has anyone been through this? Did it end well or not?<br><br>Desperate and in tears - I'd appreciate any tips, etc. <br><br>Thanks ladies.<br><br>mao

Hi mao,<br><br>I was about to shut down my pc and go to bed when I thought I'd just check to see if there were any last postings and noticed yours.<br><br>I can't really speak from experience as I am only nearly 5 weeks pg but I did have some bleeding during my 2ww which was also reduced me to tears but I can't imagine how you are feeling knowing that you are pg and bleeding.<br><br>On a more positive note, I have a friend who had IVF a year ago and had bleeding on and off throughout the first 12 weeks and was just told to take it easy but she insisted on extra scans to reassure herself that her babies were ok. She now has beautiful twin babies, a boy and girl that were born in May. <br><br>I'm keeping everything crossed for you hoping that it is just a bit of early pregnancy bleeding.<br><br>Thinking of you.<br><br>Love maggie.xx

Hi Mao,<br><br>I hope you are trying to relax (easier said than done I know). I am so paranoid about bleeding again that I haven't stopped wearing a pad since my bleeding during my 2ww. Feeling a bit like I don't want to jinx it, I'll probably keep kotex in business for the next 8 weeks. Silly I know as I'm not even spotting any more but anything to keep me sane.<br><br>When is your scan due? I'm having mine on the 22nd and can't wait. Mao<br><br>JD, who was successful around the same time as me, had some bleeding shortly after finding out that she was successful, so it must have been around the 5 week mark. However she rested a lot and it stopped and she is now fine.<br><br>I hope you get some reassurance when you have your scan and see a little heartbeat (or 2!).<br><br>Take it easy.<br>Love<br>Dee xxx.

I'm keeping myself quite still (I daren't move around) as I'm too frightened to set it off again and thank goodness it's Saturday today.<br><br>Maggie, my scan's next Friday, 16th and it's 1st thing in the morning but like you, I'm excited and also scared but praying like mad that I make it to that scan and hopefully see a heartbeat or even 2! My DH meanwhile has been completely thrown off course by this bleeding episode - he's going around in a daze and it's me trying to comfort him now - our home is in a state!<br><br>Anyway, thanks so much to you for your reassurances and I promise to keep you posted of goings on. <br><br>To you both and everyone else, GOOD LUCK with yours.<br><br>mao
