CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! Did you sleep last night??
The first thing I did when I got to work this morning is log in to see your result, I love success stories.

Yes, I slept last night as I am exhausted! I seem to be very tired around 9.30pm now!!

Hi Barbs,

I work in Wellington 3-4 days a week but live in the Horowhenua (north of Wellington). Were in NZ are you?

Who did you have your treatment with? We are going thought Fertility Associates in Wellington. It is our 2nd try as unfortunately I ended up with OHSS a couple of months ago with my first try. They wouldn’t let me go onto egg collection as my estergon was double what it had to be to let me trigger. I have a really good feeling about this cycle (I didn’t about the last one) I’m getting excited and feel strangely positive that it is all going to be ok. They have lowered my stims to 100 rather than 150 and I start them tonight. I can’t wait the week of the 14th as then I’ll know if I’ve made it to EC !! I just had a guy at work come and tell me that he found out his wife is PG yesterday (only been trying for a month…. ) Perhaps there is something in the air…..

Barbs - you little ripper! Well done you! I had a feeling it would be a first time positive for you....you just rest and start taking good care of yourself and your little one/s. Enjoy every moment of it and big hugs to your very clever DH of course!

Just a quicky as have to get ready for visitors tomorrow - scan today shows bubs are 1.5 and 1.6kgs and very healthy. Scary to think that I have 3.1kgs worth of baby in me....thats the size of a fullterm singleton!

Em - goodness, 3.1kg worth of babies......

I think I will be having one, as we only had one embryo transferred so if my some miracle I get twins, they will be identical.

Yep Joame I'm back into it, start sniffing on Tuesday and ER is around the 25 if all goes well. I hope I don't have many side effects as I didn't in the last round. I am not so stressed this time round I guess I know more about what happening and what to expect. How are you and your bub?

Here i am another kiwi, im currently on my 2week wait, i neva new how long 2 weeks is, and im only 3 days down from the transfer.

Hi from another kiwi, I can only imagine how long the 2 week wait is going to be. Perhaps you could plan a couple of little treats during the week and next weekend to look foward to - this may help time pass if you have some other things to look forward to.

I hope you are having a good weekend, and stay in touch.

Hi Kate, welcome to a wonderful bunch of supportive women! I have been coming here for over a year now and they have helped me through 4 2ww and now a pregnancy! The 2ww can be daunting but as Angela says, plan some little treats along the way so that you have a goal to focus on and before you know it the 2ww will be over. What is your test date so we can count you down?

Hi everyone else! I had my baby shower yesterday and had so many wonderful friends come to see me. Its funny, you don't realise how many friends you have until you put them all in one room! I have been gien enough clothes to keep the babies dressed until they turn 1! Everyone was suprised to see how big I was and my phone has been running hot this morning to see if I had them over night!

Well, feeling all loved up, so many hugs to you and happy long weekend to all the queenslanders here!

Hi Em - I've only known you a couple of weeks on this board but I feel really excited for you - it must be fun having a baby show and getting all those lovely treats, enjoy all the fuss and excitment - I am sure you have earnt it.

Kerry - I found the few weeks before I started this time really hard but as soon as I picked up my meds and started down regging I felt fine and really positive. It is easier the second time also - I kind of know what to expect and have been feeling good except for a few hot flushes over the last few days - but they are ok as it is getting cooler over here and it is good to feel lovely and warm !!! I have a sheet where I cross every day off as I get get closer to EC ET and a BFP (fingers crossed) - it helps me see I am making progress..... One more week until I trigger (I hope.....)

Keep up the PMA you will get there - you are 1/2 way there already.

Plan a set of clues that your DH has to work out to take him to a secret destination for dinner later in the week. The planning will be a great distraction - and you will both have a fun night together

Hi to everyone else! Hope you are all doing well (Em, sounds uncomfortable.....)

I had a second blood test today for HCG levels - the first one was 106 and now five days later it is 1166! Hope that is good - the nurse seemed pleased.

Well - getter back to work (I keep doing less and less each day I am so excited about everything!)
