First IUI

My husband and I have been ttc for 2.5 years. I will be having my first IUI in May. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I am not exactly sure what to expect.

Do you ladies know what dates you are having your IUI's yet?
Im pretty sure i will be 18th of May - 2 weeks today! my cycle is very regular which helps!

Hi ladies, had my IUI on April 29th and on my 2ww. It is killing me. I am always looking for little things to feel. It seems like I have cramping everyday or is it that I am causious of every little thing now.

To be honest, i know the 2ww is going to drive me absolutley nuts as i get every single Pregnancy symptom before AF every month - from sore boobs to nausa, metallic taste, back ache, stronger sense of smell - everything, it drives me nuts. Im so over it and i haven't even gotten there yet, i know it will be the longest 2 weeks of my life............thinking of you heaps and can't wait to hear your results.

Thanks Polly, I am absolutely going crazy. Especially today because I feel like my boobs got more sore than last Friday and I feel more crampy. I just hate this waiting game. I guess we all just have to play it. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high but it is hard.

henrietta, my hopes are already through the roof and i haven't even had my IUI yet so its to be expected you would have high hopes and its so hard not to aye. Ive already got everything planned for the next 9 months and i haven't even ovulated yet! man im going to go insane in my first 2ww!
Thinking of you heaps. 8 sleeps till you test (well it might be 9 for you as im in NZ and probably a day ahead of you!).
