Hellloooo,
Well again it's Friday and I'm snowed under with work, but I'll push it all to one side to catch up with the sisters!
Now Angie I can't give you any tips on new kitchens as I've never had one. My current kitchen is disgraceful but as I spent far too much on the house I will have to wait until it falls down around my ears before I do anything with it....I also have no hot water at the moment. System is broken so the only working bit is the solar and it's been cloudy ALL WEEK, yay the cold shower...Has AF arrived yet? when are we going to defrost the Wombats???
Patie, you've been awfully quiet lately (i know I can't talk) I hope your new boss is not a slave driver...I think you should be the boss anyway....how is the mag going??
Mego, good one for going swimming, I've been meaning to for about the last three or four months but am so blinking tired at the end of the work day it's all I can do to eat dinner (can always manage that) and then cart myself off to bed to watch some quality reality TV...and as far as that mum to be in your office goes, what a moll, I can't stand all those punters who take being preg for granted...it P$sses me off big time. I would have slapped her given half a chance....
Jenn, another one who has gone quiet...how are you going, you must be cycling by now. Got any good mood swing stories for us??? we haven't had any good dildo cam stories for a while either...
Hey Mel, when do we get the results of your salmonella testing? Was it a blood test?? What are they testing for??? Whiskey is most cute by the way. Good luck on Monday with the various probing thingys, unfortunately I won't be able to keep you amused due to the time difference (I think I might be sleeping)....I will cringe for you on the day however...
HRobinson, welcome to the angry place, I must say I was very impressed with your opening gambit and second Sassy's motion that your neighbour should be nominated as Punter of the Month. I think we can all relate to the hell of even attending a babyshower but for crying out loud, you have to THROW one. Forget it, you need to get out of it...
Vicky, consider yourself slapped by me as well...that damned HPT...although I do know how hard the wait is....how long now??? must only be a few days?? And Sanson is a major cutie. He looks like a very good boy, not like my naughty dog Sidney...very naughty despite being very old still behaves like a puppy!
Wanna, glad to hear you are feeling well but I know what you mean about feeling paranoid about all your symptoms disappearing, mine have all but gone which has caused me major panic
And last but not least Sass! I am incredibly jealous of your Austraia soujourn. I was hankering for a week away somewhere, even Hong Kong but DH and I agreed that we can't afford it, I guess we have to prioritise getting some hot water into the damned hovel that we live in...I have been reading your blog and have to say that I want some Apfelstrudel, I WANT SOME APFELSTRUDEL!! I don't know what it is but it sounds yummy...
OK I'll forgive Coco's absence (because gay divorcee's don't hang around computers much) but Amy???? Will you come back if I throw you a Crickey??? CRICKEY!!! Geez by now the baby population of your students must have increased by about 100 since we last heard from you...

OK now I need a slapping because I forgot to give a shout out to Nickster. I have to say that I read your post about life being easy without children and had felt that way after babysitting nieces and nephews (which I only very rarely do - people don't seem to trust me with their children -probably for good reason - my niece was drinking handwash while in my care last time...) I remember being absolutely dog tired after babysitting for a few short hours. I had to go to sleep in the middle of the day.

Fee and Angie...i am awake:) its actually 2:30 PM my time...its the w/e here but i had some work to do and i am feeling quite low today...well my new boss is DH...and he's not being too cool....we r getting on each other's nerves....and he's being too bossy....
nickster and Mel(u look nice in that pic...)...u r into tv shows... well finally yesterday i caught up w Grey's it was the episode when George's dad dies...so how far am i from u guys.... and i just finished watching the Supranos...its when Medo and her bf get engaged...i guess i am also very far behind

I've been having brown discharge since yesterday afternoon (sorry if TMI) and also some cramping, and (yes Mel sorry I did another one this AM 
) I did another HPT this morning to see what was going on and it was negative, so it looks like this is it.......

Vicky~ OK..I'm still going to think positive here. I'm not as against HPT's as most people are but it might still be too early for a +, wouldn't it? Yesterday was a week so it's probably just too soon. And that brown discharge..as long as it's not bright red, maybe it's a good thing. A lot of people have brownish discharge and still have a bfp. Don't give up hope yet girl! I'm still sending lots of hopes and prayers your way. Hang in there!
Melissa~ Harrison is adorable too! He's so cute.. I think I could actually forgive him for interrupting Survivor for a few minutes every once in a while!
Have you gotten any results from your test yet? How's that been going anyway? Have you still been having pain and bleeding? Throne time's around the corner! I know you're getting excited!

So you got a little caught up on Grey's? I don't remember exactly when George's dad died but it doesn't seem like it was that long ago. Maybe 4 or 5 episodes. We'll have to confirm that with Mel, but I think that's about right.
Angie~ Not much longer until rennovations begin! Is it about a week now until you move in?
I'm glad to hear you're feeling good being drug free. (wow that sounds like you just got out of a 12 step program!) Enjoy your drinks tonight. Unfortunately I have to work or I would be doing the same. Have one for me!
Fee~ Yep I know exactly what you mean about needing a nap after (or during) the niece/nephew stay! It seems like everyone has different opinions on them. What do you think? (Of course this might be a bad time to ask with your cold showers and all!)

As for me~ I went to the doctor yesterday for yet ANOTHER problem. I've been having pain on and off in my lower back on my left side for a little while now and lately I feel like I have to go to the bathroom ALL the time. Most the time the pain is not terrible, just a little uncomfortable. Yesterday it was pretty bad. Of course, I've been off for a freakin week and a half and I've been fine but now that it's time to go back to work, it was killing me! So anyway, I went to the doctor. I had a good amount of blood in my urine and he said no sign of a urinary infection. He's pretty sure I have a kidney stone. He did some blood tests to check for kidney function and I am going for a CT scan on Tuesday. He said depending on how big it is, they might have to go in and remove it. Girls I think IVF broke me! It seems like ever since Feb. I have had one problem after another! I asked dh and my friends at work..are you guys as tired of listening to me b***h as I am of b***hing?
I guess we'll see what happens. So far today I feel much better than yesterday.

Melllllllll- I think I have broken my toe! How ugly does it have to be to be considered broken? I was vacuuming and rammed it into a door frame. Not smart. It was pointing west so I straightened it out and I felt it kind of grinding and popping back into place. It is bruised and a little swollen. I've learned my lesson- NO MORE CLEANING!! What should I do? Oh...and your dog is cute!!

Patie- a new buisiness, how exciting. Although I don't know that i would enjoy working with my DH all day! We get snippy when we spend too much time together.

Oh no!! HELP!! I just had a thought: what if my toe is broken and it stays swollen and purple and then I have to get in the stirrups with a big "ugly toe"???? Should I keep socks on so she doesn't have to see? I was going to get a pedicure and now I can't. OH NOOOO!!! I can't do IVF with a big ugly toe! I should have been more sympathetic to Mel's toe and now I am being punished I think!

Jenn- You are soooo funny. However you hit the nail right on the head. NO HOUSEWORK for a very long time!!! Whatever it takes to get out of it. I died when you mentioned getting into the stirrups. I ALWAYS wear socks becuase I think I have the ugliest feet. And of course I always worry, "What if they stink?"

Vicky- Stay positive. Anything can happen. The first time I did IVF, I had AF symptoms the whole 2ww. I told everyone that I wasnt pregnant, and I was. As long as it's not RED, I think you are okay. I will keep you in my prayers. It will happen for you

Jenn~ Aww...sorry about your toe. That sucks! See, that cleaning stuff is dangerous! I always keep socks on for the stirrups too. I hate feet..mine included. Well I guess it will be one less toe you will have to paint the "sparkly sisterhood blue"!!
hrobinson~ I agree about Grey's too. It was horrible. The first 15 or 20 minutes, dh and I are like who are these people? That was just so disappointing. I can't believe they (and I) wasted 2 hours on that!
Meg~ I know, I am a mess! You're right though, I haven't been taking my vitamins. Maybe that's my problem. I keep telling dh, I would understand if you are ready to trade me in for a new model!!
So you're having some nice weather huh? I say the same thing with snow or storms...it's a beautiful thing to watch from the window but a whole different story when you have to be out driving somewhere.

hrobinson~ I agree about Grey's too. It was horrible. The first 15 or 20 minutes, dh and I are like who are these people? That was just so disappointing. I can't believe they (and I) wasted 2 hours on that!
Meg~ I know, I am a mess! You're right though, I haven't been taking my vitamins. Maybe that's my problem. I keep telling dh, I would understand if you are ready to trade me in for a new model!!
So you're having some nice weather huh? I say the same thing with snow or storms...it's a beautiful thing to watch from the window but a whole different story when you have to be out driving somewhere.
