Morning all loving being off this week

Lucy - well done honey on the follies! Fab news! It never ceases to amaze me with IVF that protocols etc can be so different. It seemed like Nicki and Julie were on meds for ages before EC! However I think it must be nice having a short protocol as it doesn't seem like EC/ET are yonks away! GOOD LUCK FOR THURSDAY HONEY XXX Are you taking time off work or going back after you've rested??xxx

Nicki - wish I could help you hun on the AF front but I am clueless! Glad first day back not too bad and hope 2nd day is moving quickly for ya xxx

Jen - your day in Inverness sounds wonderful. My idea of a perfect day with the long walk and lunch. How are your arrangements for Spain coming along and how is gorgeous Broc?? xxx

Julie - glad to hear you sounding so upbeat girl! I constantly prodded and poked my BB's during the first 3, 2WW's I drove myself mad with it! On my last oe when I got the BFP they were sore and tender after 11 days (9 days post ovulation approx) however they were also tender on the previous 3 after one week so my advice is try and not read too much into it, its so tricky to know for sure. Keeping everythibg crossed for a strong BFP for ya xxx

Yesterday I sat in our back garden as it was scorching and warm. My friend popped over and we had coffee and cake in the sun Then dh and I went out for tea to a little italian near by and had bruschetta nd ravioli. Yum!

Today I have physio appt as my back has been sore since week 5 (old sporting niggles coming back to haunt me) then dh and I are going to the Botanic Gardens for a walk followed by fresh coffee in their lovely cafe! Lucy around week 20 I should hopefully feel some flutters or kicks. Thought I might have felt one this morning but not sure, its so hard to know! Think we are going to pay the extra for 3D/4D scan so will look into it.

Hope you're all OK?

My plan wasn't to tell work, but because my EC is earlier than I thought, I'm going to have to finish work tomorrow, so I thought honesty is the best policy, I spoke to my manager this morning and told him the situation, he was fine about it. I have told him though it is strictly confidential; I've told him my sick note will just say minor operation. I also found out my interview date is 17th April, my 1st day back at work.! aarrgghhh. 8 people were short listed for 5 positions.!

Jen - This will be my sisters 3rd baby, she lost her 1st baby though, he was 48hrs old when he passed away, he only weighed 1lb 5. She has Aimee who's 4 and she'll be having Joshua very soon. Her due date is my test date believe it or not, but they may bring her on early.. we'll see.!! You should put some of your photos on photobucket, let us all have a see.. Hope you're OK anyway.?

Julie - My boobs got really sore when I had BFP's... I know what you mean about fidgeting with them.. I know its really hard but try not to focus on symptoms - don't know why I'm telling you that because when its my 2ww I'll prob be doing same..! Re: Tablet Q, I don't think it will matter you missed 1, as long as you carried on next day.!

Lisa - I know, Its flown hasn't it? I do what they call a flare cycle, so just start stimming straight away on day 2, they've stopped me a bit early this time, 10 days.! Wish I had a few more follies but hay can't ask for everything can we.? I'll be off work 2 weeks. I'm just going to rest, I'm taking a leaf out of Julie’s book and watching all the series of Friends.! Even though I must of seen them all about 10 times..! Glad you're doing OK hun and your bump is growing nicely, how many weeks are you now? The 3d/4d scan will be so worth it, they are amazing..

Anyway girls best go, I'm at work and got so much to do before I go off for a couple of weeks.

DH is watching the Liverpool-Chelsea match. God I hate penalties!!!! Liverpool are 2-0 up at mo and DH is ecstatic . Hate Football.

Nikki - Hows you? Ok I hope. Whats it like being back at work? Hope its not too bad for ya. Hows the bleed? Full AF? Hope not too poorly.

Lucy - Nearly there now kiddo!! So glad work are ok with you. Makes it sooo much easier doesn't it. Bit of a bummer interview is your first day back. Hopefully you will be refreshed happy pregnant and confident and will win them over

(Liverpool won 4-0!! Doesnt take much to make men happy does it)

Lis - Sounds like you are having a lovely week off. Hope you enjoy the rest of it. I too had a garden day and am terribly sunburnt (I am a ginger). Didnt go out today and still sore!! Am going to sit under my big brolly tomorrow.

Jen - You too sound like had good time in Inverness. Glad Adam wasn't too late back for ya. x

Hi Girls

Just a quick one..

I can't quite believe it but they managed to get 11 eggs from me... yes 11. I'm still in shock. When the nurse told me I asked her if she had me mixed up with someone else......... I am really really pleased. Got home about 1.30pm, I've just slept for the afternoon, feeling OK now, got a bit of stomach ache but nothing too bad. They will ring me tomorrow to let me know how many fertilized.

Going now Tone just shouted tea is ready.. bless him.!

6 of my 11 eggs have fertilised... I have to go back in tomorrow at 10.30am, I'm really hoping there all good quality and they can freeze the other 4... I'll keep you all posted.

Julie for some reason I thought out tests dates were a day apart, but noticed you only have 7 days left.... bring on your BFP hun.. How's the boobs? Are they still sore.?!

Well done on the 6! Things are looking good. Assume from what you say you are having two put back? Will be thinking of you in the morning.

I have no symptoms. I have had AF cramps since Tuesday (the feeling I always get the day before I bleed) and still twinges in my left side but that couldd be drugs. Boobs aren't sore now (unless I actually press my nipple and dont suppose that counts for anything other than the stress of them being tampered with all the time!).

Not long now, i can see that coming so very soon!!! Best of luck darling!!!

As for me the scan i had friday showed the left ovary is now normal and recovered, with no follies, but the right ovary is still enlarged with 7 follicles, one of which is a cyst at 38mm!! Yikes!!! Said it should pop by its self which i think is happeneing now, as i have some odd twingy pains going on!!! I hope!!! get this over and done with!!! Another scan friday 11th!!!
Went to see Jason Donovan last night!! Had a fab night!!! itw as great!!!
Mum over this w-end so keeping busy, going to the pub tonight (again!!) for a few more drinks!!!
Work was hectic, and knackering hence the reason for not posting last week!!
