Help Vivelle patch!

Hi has anyone use these?I'm suppossed to start today,what are they for and how important are they?I'm 7 days post ET. I read the insert and the side effects scare me!Any advice woudl be great.

Sugarmama, I am on the Vivelle patches as well, I don't know if you are on a FET as well, I am on a FET cycle. The vivelle patches basically are a replacement for estrogen, they do exactly the same that the estrogen in your body would do in a normal cycle, except that on a controlled cycle the doctors want to be able to control themselves your hormones, hence the patches. I haven't had any side effects, try to avoid reading those inserts, they will always scare you, they are done to protect the laboratories so they don't get sued by someone who says "they didn't tell me so and so would happen".

No worries with the patch....I used them with no ill effects. Just follow your docs orders.

Agreeing with the others. I used them until they say a hearbeat and then they took me off them. No side effects at all. Just a pain to get that damn glue off my belly though! LOL

A tip for removing---rubbing alcohol works great!

no, I was told to wear them on my lower abdomen.
