I am 28. I have only one ovary, and a history of depression due to a bad childhood. I have one 8-year-old daughter, who is the absolute light of my life. I am unable to have any more children because my tubes have been removed. Well, I COULD get pregnant by IVF but I couldn't afford it and I couldn't take on another child right now. Anyhow, is there any way I could donate? I had a tubal pregnancy 3 years ago, so I know what it's like to struggle with this. I would like to help, but could I?
Hi, that is a wonderful thing that you want to do. However, I don't think that you will qualify because of your depression. You can donate privately to people who are seeking donor eggs. If you put it on the General Forum that you are wanting to donate your eggs, I am sure you will find someone who needs them. Like me. I have 2 IVFs paid for and it it does not work with my own eggs, which I am 42 now, then I will have to go with a donor. Good luck in finding a couple. It may be me in time.
