we had our 1st scan yesterday @ 7weeks 1 day and i thought that once this was over I would be calm........it went really well, healthy heart beat and everything as it should be........
Well...........last night i have had some bleeding...only when i wipe inside(tmi) and it is brownish, not red............(still there today)
Has anyone else had this after there 1st scan?? it was an internal scan...could it be this that has caused a slight bleed?
i have read so many times that brown discharge ok so why am i panicking!!
any positive comments appreciated.thanks

Yes it is common after an internal scan to have light bleeding...my dr. warned me of this every time...they also told me brown blood is good blood because its old...if u are really concerned u should still call ur dr. to make sure, every person is different but i realy don't believe u have anythng to worry about...good luck

I am sure everything is ok. To make sure I would call your doctor. Its also nice to have reassuarance. The worry will be less if they tell you its ok.
It amazing you think once I am pregnant I wouldnt worry...not the case. Everyday I worry..I think we have had like 10 ultrasounds already.

I had a similar experience. I can't recall the exact dates but I got a bit of spotting (pink and brown) both before and after my first scan at around 8 weeks. It was on and off for a few weeks and thankfully nothing since! I'm still paranoid though and check for spotting every time I go to the loo. You're absolutely right the worry never ends!
When I had my spotting my clinic weren't too worried and told me to call back if it was red or heavier....I agree with the other ladies, call your clinic and put your mind at rest!
