OK retrieval is over shew. They managed to find 10 in there hiding about. Just hoping that they had a growth spurt and are mature lil eggs. So now I'm resting and praying that they were all mature and will want fertilize and become babies.

Hope everyone is well and having a good day. Will do personals later its back to the couch for me.

My day 1 fertilization results are in- 5 of my 6 eggs have fertilized! Now we just have to see how many make it to the day 5 transfer. I'm hoping to transfer 2 (the max my RE will allow given my age).

Steph-Congrats on the 10 egg retrieved!

Steph - Congrats on your ER! I wish you the best.

Stephanie - Great fert report! Let us know how it went. My prayers are with you as you wait for your transfer.

I am doing ok. One more week to go! My cramps seem to have gone away this morning. I hope that is a good sign. I seem to be doing much better with all the meds this cycle. No nausia or headaches. The wait is killing me though and it is hard to remain positive because I know the odds are sooooo low for my age group but I am trying to have a PMA and not worry too much.

Let the emotional roller coaster ride begin!
I am going in soon for my 3 day embryo transfer, changed from the 5 day blastocyst transfer. Trying to stay positive, but I can't help thinking something is wrong b/c we were supposed to go 5 days.
Anyone else with an experience like this and with a BFP?

Hope everyone else is hanging in there for Mother's Day w/e.

I'm back from my ET... we transferred 2 8-cell embryos that the RE described as perfect. We froze the other good looking one. Our last 2 didn't look so hot and they will be researching them once they "arrest."
So let the 2 week wait commence!

Stephanie - I hope your little ones are snuggling in! It sounds like you had a great couple of embies to tranfer. It is great that you were able to freeze one too. Best of luck to you.

I am still going crazy in the 2ww. I had two days without cramps but now they have just returned. I know this can be normal but it is makes me nervous. I still haven't heard whether our remaining embies made it to freeze either. I called the clinic and left a message that was never returned today...... Day 5 was on Tuesday so you would think they would let me know. It makes me crazy but I guess everything these days makes me crazy!

Hi there,

I am waiting to stimulate on wednesday I have been downregulating since 18th March. AF was late so due to that I start on wednesday. This is my 5th attempt 3 failed IVFs and one cancelled in march so I really know the drill when it comes to this treatment unfortunately... I would be happy to go along with you where are you in your treatment.

Good luck

Update on all my fun

As of Friday all 7 of my lil ones were way behind on day 2. Clinic called and said they are pretty sure that ET at this point will be cancelled. The embies were 1 - 3 cell and the other 6 are only at 2 cells. They wil only transfer day 3 with 8 cells and at this point it did not looking like my lil ones will make it. OK then...

I got a call Saturday morning saying that Dr was willing to do transfer our lil ones were....

3 Grade A 6 cells
1 Grade B 6 cell
For a total of 4 that went back shewwwww.

So we decided to do the transfer.... Heres the kicker By the time we got there 1 was a PERFECT Grade A 8 cell one other was at 7 and the other two 6 cells were dividing WOO HOO t... Just wanted to let you all know thanks for ALL the P&PTs I could have never done this without all your support. Beta will be 5-24@ 9:45

Sorry Just got off bedrest Hope everyone is having a beautiful day!!

Stephanie/My2Lnt,

I know that the 2WW will feel like years...but take it easy and have lot of positive hopes. it really helps.

Gecko,

I am praying for you for your test tomorrow. Sending lots of baby dust to you.

As far as me, i took off the whole 10 days from work and so didnt have access to a computer...was sitting at home and just relaxing. Had my BETA yesterday and came out to be positive with HCG count of 56. I am going for another b/w tomorrow and hoping that the number doubles. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi, looks like a lot of you are close to testing. As for me, I had my retrieval yesterday. My RE had told me I had lots of follicles, but turns out they got only 6 eggs of which 3 fertilized. I am a little disappointed, hopefully things go ok from this point on. Plan is to transfer 2 embies on Friday. I have never been this nervous all my life.
Good Luck to everyone.

Hi,

I'm brand new to the board, and it seems like exactly where i need to be right now. What a supportive environment. And as someone who's going through this for the 1st time, not really knowing anyone who's done it, that's exactly what I need.

I just had my ER on monday - 17 eggs. sounded good. Then we got a call Tues morning that none had fertilized! Ever heard of that? My RE said he was shocked. They were able to do rescue ICSI on 10 of them. We got a call this morning that 7 fertilized. Now we just have to wait and see what they do over the next day and hope for ET on friday. I'm just praying they grow enough. I can hardly sit still, let alone think about anything else. How do you all stay sane?

Rady- CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to stay positive- Its a lil hard but hey I'm trying... That and this time I have not altered my life to "walk on eggshells" All for the exception of playing and joking around with DH.

bebe- Welcome 7 sounds wonderful! That is what we had this last time. And there is no way to stay sane in all of this just to let you know. The 2ww is hell and it will drive you nuts just to let you know in advance but it is all normal.. Wishing you the best of luck

Rdoc- I hope those are the best 3 embies that anyone has ever seen and you get that BFP soon.

Neeve - WOW I do so hope that is try is magical and you end with a BFP.

Gecko- Hey stranger how are you? Hope things are going well.

OK Hope you are all having a beautilful day.
