I am wishing you many growing follies! Bring it on and grow grow grow! I hope that things go well for you. It will fly by fast. I would want to know as well why they dont do a 5 day?!?!?!? Interesting.

Souris
Good to hear from you girl. I hope that you are doing well today.

It is raining like a siv here. Anyhow the nurse just called and all the embies look good and are dividing well today on day three so they are going to go ahead and wait to transfer until Friday! Yeah! I was hoping for that. I have classes tomorrow so this works out really well. Bring on two wonderful babies! I can't wait to see the pics! I think that I said that earlier but still it is how I am feeling!

hey gals, just wanted to give an update. I'm not feeling too well so I'll have to do personals later. I had ER yesterday. I remember most of it including the pain and when RE nicked a blood vessel and I bled. I said, "I think I feel a warm gush down there." RE acted quickly and got it to stop. Oh well, to be honest I would have done better without any meds, especially since I felt the pain anyway. It was more discomfort than pain. They got 4 "good" eggs and all that I have heard so far is that I do have fertilization. I don't know how many or what grade they are. I go back Friday for the transfer. (Last time I only had 1 "good" egg so I'm quite positive this time). My dilema is, what if it's 3 or 4 embies??? I would definitely transfer 1 or 2 but it starts getting scary when you go above that. Then, if you only have 1 or 2 left over, do you freeze them???

I hope all of you are doing well. I'll try to catch up later after my drugs wear off. Enjoy your day!

Jovigal - Congrats on your 4 good eggs.. Hey it only takes one. Sorry your not feeling to well. Hope you feel better soon.

Tanya - Aww thats cute about the babysitter. Congrats on your lil fighter making ET Friday. We will start our 2ww 1 day apart. Hope all is well today. I will check in later still a lil sore now.

daly- Well I can't kick folllie fairy too hard she must have did a little sneeze of growth dust at the last min.The acupunture info is great I have my next appt 1 hour before transfer. Then maybe I will go once more after that. So how are you feeling? Hope things are well.

Well I had my retrieval today and they found 10 egg hiding in there. I was expecting a lower number and wanting a higher one but hey 10 is good. Now just crossing fingers and hoping that at least half are mature and want to make a baby for me. :)

I will do more personals later tummy is still a lil sore so back to bed I go.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I know what you mean about being sore. I am still just a tad sore. I am so excited for us to be in the 2WW together. Are you going to POAS? I am planning on doing that. I must know what is happening. LOL

Jovigal
Glad that you got your eggs!!! Four is great considering that you only had one last time. That is really great! Woo Hoo grow embies grow!

My babies are looking good-the nurse called today and said that things are looking good. All are growing well. I hope that they make it until Friday!

Yeah Tanya I plan to POAS hee hee I bought 2 without DH knowing just so I could "appear" to have control by not taking one. HAHA I did the one tho just to see what a BFP line looked like.... So now I gotta get another one to replace it. I am just a lil sore to this is not as bad as the first time he did my retrieval.. The second time I had the woman Dr that was there and there was no real pain at all. I think that I was lucky because when I heard it was the male Dr I was ready to cry but he did real good this time shewwww.

Steph - 10 is a perfect number! What great news! I'll give you folly fairy some flowers after giving her the "gentle" kick . Grow Embies Grow!!! You are too funny with the pee sticks! It was like reading my own post! I have bought so many pee sticks wihtout dh knowing!!! He has finally (after 4 years of this) relented to my helpless addiction! I already have my sticks and won't start stimms for another 2 weeks!!

Tanya - Great news on your little troopers! They really are showing off!!! Day 5 transfer. They'll look like the cutest little pizzas you ever saw (that's what my friend's embies looked like....they now are adorable 4 month old twins  ) Mine have always been 3 dayers because they are a little slow to divide  I love them anyway :D Sending you gret sticky vibes!!

Jovigal - I already posted to you on the other site and will say again how great your news is!! what a huge difference from last time! You must be so happy. Grow little embies grow!!

Jenn - Congrats on starting stimms! I get to start in 2 weeks and am getting excited! I can only guess your clinic isn't doing day 5 for a few reasons. Some places have a special transitional medium for growing the embies to day 5 and your lab may not have that or they have the feeling that day 3 are better results for them. The only reason to do a day 5 is for decreased risk of multiples and better selection of embies, becasue surviving to day 5 is a very positive sign for embies. However, some people's embies do not do as well outsitde the body and some embies that would have made it if transferred earlier can't because the growth medium is still not as good as the body is for the little guys. Many clinics also do day 2 for sensitive embies that don't thrive in the petri growth medium. I'm usually a day 3 transfer, but am going to ask about day 2. I don't get many eggs and have a long mc history so they usually transfer all we get and there is no reason to risk the embies to grow to day 5. If you get alot of embies, day 5 is excellent for finding the best ones to transfer. Sorry if this is too wordy. I'm starving (there are some frozen taquito's waiting for me :D ) and suffering from low blood sugar!!

BTW, I totally vote for Italy! We are also planning a trip next year and are complete francophiles (would move there if I could), but have heard such great stuff about Italy. We are planning to finally go there instead of France. We want to see Florence and Venice especially. You can't go wrong with either choice!

Sophie - How are you doing?? I'm always envisioning you dancing away.

Well I'm peeing on the much less exciting LH stick and waitng for my surge to give the go ahead for down regging. Must prepare dh for a "wee bit of moodiness" that inevitably comes with the lovely down regging!! Then it's off to stimming YEAH!

Hello ladies,

Just a super quick post because lots of things are going on for many lovely ladies, but I'm completely dead after a trying day for all kinds of reasons. I'll do more decent personals later.

Tanya my sweet, I'm absolutely thrilled that your babies are dividing well and seem in a super shape! Everything is going according to plan and looking good. Not even two days and your treasures will be back home and, hopefully, a few will start their naps in their cradles of ice!

My2LnT: 10 eggs is fabulous! Congratulations darling! Divide and conquer, little ones! I'm so looking forward to have news about your fert rate! When will they call you? *hugs* Have a good rest sweetie.

Jovigal: congratulations on your 4 eggs! Hey, this is a good job! I'm so happy for you! :D :D :D I'll be looking forward to hearing news about your babies! Keeping everything crossed! And about the number, there's no use to worry in advance! You'll cross that bridge when you get to the river, not before!

Take care my dears; I swear I'll post again first thing in the morning, especially for you sweet daly who made this awesome post! :D

This is the first time that I have bought them and not told DH and very suprised because I tell him EVERYTHING! God I don't know how I have not told him yet. Well we will keep fingers crossed for you and DH..... Well tell DH we will pray for him when you hit your "moody" time. LOL

OK off to bed for me I hate waking up at O'dark thirty. Well its really about 4:30 when DHs alarm goes off.

Good morning ladies!

Ah, I'm a little more rested this morning! Beginning to find the headaches really annoying, though. I woke up last night because of it and took two Tylenol at 1am! sheeeew! ;) But mornings are always better!

Annag: welcome to the nut house! :D Thanks for sharing your story with us. I'm so sorry to hear that you got a BFN... :( But great job on the 9 frosties, though! Wow! I'm sure there's at least one little fighter in there that's looking forward to a nine months nap inside its mommy! ;) Good luck and wishing you a strong BFP!

gbnut: I've been on Lupron since May 2nd. In do recall the fatigue associated with Lupron from my first cycle, but not that many headaches. Maybe the acupuncture I had at the time made a difference at that level Ah, well, no money for that right now, so it will have to wait till I start stimming! ;)

ltaylor: glad to know you're still alive! :D Your turn will come, don't worry!

jen: Hehehe it gets hot and humid here, too! But I thought Texas would be rather dry... I stand corrected, then! Cheering AF here so she doesn't make you wait too long! :D

Daly: Awwwwwwwwww! You're so sweet you glow in the dark! LOL! :D Thanks so much for the long post! It's great to catch up with you! The rehearsals are a bit tiring now. Our teacher is getting more tense and she's shouting orders all the time during the rehearsals... "Keep the line, guys, you're all OFF!" "Wrong arm, Sophie!" "Nancy, you're off rhythm!" "I want that turn more sharp, guys!" sheeeeew! ;) But that's pre-show routine. What really s**ks is that I'm stuck with four tickets because my family can't come to the show... I had bought tickets for them. I'm trying to sell them, but I might flush 60$ down the drain. Given the big IVF payment that's coming, it really, really s**ks. But that's life! And about the costume, well.. *blush* I might post a few pics eventually.. ;) You made me laugh so hard when you mentioned taking Pepto as an aperitif! LOL So now you're on a first name basis, huh? Tourista is gone now. It's IBS that's grumpy, but it's very tolerable. I'm so glad to read that your DH is a great support!

Tanya: your posts are sometimes a little... I don't know, you don't always sound enthusiastic. Is it the waiting? The pain? The uncertainty? I'm just worried about you sweetie, and I really hope you're doing okay emotionally. Let me know if you want, and here's a big bear hug *HUG* Soon your lovelies will be back home, less than 24h! Hang in there!

Jenn: congratulations on starting the stimming! How are the Repronex shots? I'll have that this cycle and it's new... I've been told it stings. Is it true? Paris was AMAZING when we were there. Incredible summer weather. There were leaves in the trees, flowers everywhere... amazing. If you decide to go in Italy, then I really suggest you rent an apartment or a little villa in a village in the vicinity of a bigger city you want to visit. Being able to cook for all your meals really makes a difference on your budget. You can buy nice food for a cheap price at the markets there.

souris:  hello there! Oh, sweetie, of course I won't take you off the list! Hey, some people hardly post personals and it's absolutely okay! The important thing is that you get support through your IVF ride. I don't mind if you don't have the time to post personals! I would mind much more if you prevented yourself from coming here because you're ashamed you don't have time to post personals. As far as I'm concerned, you're still 100% welcome! CONGRATULATIONS on starting the stimms! Woohoo! Grow, follies, grow!

Jovigal: I really hope that you're doing better today. I know that the bleeding can make it really a pain in the... tummy and lower back.

My2LnT: how is the convalescence doing? Is the pain any better today? I'm thinking of you and your 10 eggies *hugs*

Okay! Gotta update that list and get going! I promised a nice walk to my doggie.

Have a great day guys!

hello everyone, yes i know I've been extremely naughty  and not posted for weeks - been on an IVF mini break and so needed it, plus work is so so busy that I'm just getting the time to read and write posts.

Well that time is nearly here, we have a follow up appt tomorrow with the consultant and also I've started spotting so I'm sure the wicked witch AF is just around the corner. So providing all goes well tomorrow and that they can slot me in, I guess I will be starting d/reg towards end of may/beg june..... I feel so far behind everyone else.

sorry no personals but as completely lost the plot on where everyone is, but just looking at the list, it seems that we are up and running and wow, we have nearly got some 2ww'rs around the corner.

I hope those that have ER are well and those lil embies are back home soon and those who are about to go through it, good luck!!

For those with follies - come on follies grow grow grow........

sticky baby dust to all
