:D  :D Nine weeks and Five days :D  :D

Mama,

Hello! Iwas talking about pregancy after treatment on the main message board. People tend divide themsleves us based on due dates so that they are all roughly in the same stage of the pregnancy.

My due date based on my conception date would have been 4th Dec so i joined the Dec group, but when I finally had my scan at 8 weeks 1 day my twinny beans were descovered.

Women with twins average 37 weeks so that changed my due date to Nov 14th. But i have made friends in Dec now and I could go on past Nov anyhow so thats where I've decided to stay.

I am too slow a typist to join the the Nov group as well! LOL

sonya and Q
how are our twin mums doing??

marcia,
morning sickness oh bless ya, i still have not yet experianced any m/s, dont know if thats a good thing or bad, part of me wished that i was having m/s that way i would know that things are happening, but on the other hand i really hate been sick!!! my scan isn't until tue, been wishing the time away so much, but now its here i'm geeting so scared that all wont be well as i have lost all symptoms i did have (and they were very few) i have still been doing the odd HPT just to make sure i'm not imagining this pregnancy. DH thinks i'm off my head.

yarnista
so glad to hear your doing ok.
i really wish you all the best on your next cycle, sound as if your diet is working wounders already.

Rae

Hi all,

and CONGRATULATIONS BARBS!!! That's wonderful news hon!!!

I'm so glad to read that all your pregnancies seem to be going well. hang in there with the m/s, it won't last for ever...

Marcia, you were asking about scans in May - we have one, on the 26th or something like that. It'll be a big one, the structural u/s. It will show if all's well with the baby and whether (s)he is indeed a boy like my OB cautiously suspected.

Natalie, you're so right about the name thing - I think I'm just freaking out because I've been reading about a lot of people having names, nurseries etc ready already at this point, whereas I don't even know where I'll be giving birth, let alone what kind of a place we'll have at that time (we're contemplating returning to Europe). Anyhow, I've decided just to let things go as they will and concentrate on the baby and feeling well.

Sha, thanks for asking, I have quite a nice bump now - very small but clearly from expecting a baby and not just having eaten too much :D People who know me well can def. tell (at least in a bikini) but strangers really cannot, esp. if I'm wearing a loose shirt. Thank heavens for lowrise jeans - I'm still in my tight prepregnancy jeans, although anything higher rise would be way too tight or uncomfortable. So haven't shopped for any maternity stuff yet - and with shirts I doubt I will - the fashions at the moment work very well for pregnancy!

Hope you all are feeling good both mentally and physically - enjoy your expecting days. And for those for whom it didn't work this time I have sent special requests upstairs - I firmly believe that your babies will come. Hang in there ladies, it will happen! Hugs to all,

Rae

Hey Ladies!

Rae: I just looked at your ticker and you are 18 weeks! Wow you are almost halfway done! Can you believe it? Hope you and that sweet baby boy are doing well!

Kia: Great news and congrats on the HB!! You must be sooo excited! I am excited for you! So what happens with the other sac? Does it just disappear? Thanks on the twin well wishes!

Fiji: Wow 1166 that is awesome!!

Q my due date has changed to Nov 27th also. Although I stopped in the Dec Preggo Thread a while ago but havent been back! I just havent been feeling well enough to really keep up.

Yarnista: Wow that is so sweet of you. I would love a blanket! Good Luck with the diet! I hate to diet but I am sure you will do great! My friend is doing E-diet and she has done really good on it!

Well I hope you all are doing better than me! I was at the hospital this morning because I havent been able to keep anything down for 3 days! They gave me and IV and some new anti-nausea meds. I am feeling OK now but I have had the worst head ache! I honestly havent felt this bad ever! and I am hoping I will start to feel better soon!!

Well off to rest take care now

Hi girls

Goodness Sonya - hope the meds are working for you!

Kia - :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yarnista - Good luck with everything.

Now here is a question for all the girls with BFP - do you find once you have had the BFP that your worries shift to miscarrying?

I am the worlds biggest worrier at the best of times but now that I have got a BFP I have shifted my worries to worrying about having a miscarriage.
Strange I know - I just seem to move from self induced worry to self induced worry... Don't mind me.

Can anyone also answer this question - I think I am five weeks pregnant. The retrieval was 18 April, which was three weeks ago so I took it back two weeks from there and get five - is that right?

Sorry - so many questions.

Barbs,

Ref you dates, if you look on the very front page to this site it has a pregnancy calculator ( or look to left of this page at the bottom) type in your dates there and it will give you your EDD.
Also when you go back for your scan your clinic should give you your EDD, mine did and they have worked it out different to the calculator I used!!!! So I’m going for a date somewhere in between makes me feel a little better!!!
As for the worrying, I’m sure now that it will never stop!! I worried all the way through the 2ww, then as soon as I got my BFP, I was worrying that I will either M/C or there wouldn’t be a heartbeat at the scan, not that I’ve seen the heartbeat, I worrying about M/C still, and what if something else is wrong!!!!
So no your not alone at the worrying side of life, we have all wanted this so much that I don’t think we would be normal if we didn’t worry.
When is your first scan?

Sonya – I’m so sorry to hear that things have been pretty rough for you lately, I really do hope your feeling better soon. You rest up honey and look after yourself and those 2 little ones. Thinking of you xx

Marcia – how you doing honey?? When’s your scan?

Rae- so glad to hear all is going well, and your bump sounds as if its coming along nicely, before you know it you wont be able to see your toe’s!!!!

Sha, congrats on the heartbeat!!! That's wonderful :D

Sonya, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad :( Hopefully your symptoms will ease within the next couple of weeks. Do you feel like the new meds are helping at all?

Yes, 18+ weeks feels pretty amazing. The worry never stops, though - during the first trimester it was about early miscarriage, now it's about not making it until the critical weeks when the baby could survive in the outside world. But at least the fears have gotten a lot less intense - most of the time I feel quite sunny and happy. Bump's coming along nicely but I still can't feel any movement.

Take care, everyone!

Hey girls :)

I'm good, a little mashed with the fatigue, nausea and headaches to boot, but it's all good :D .

I hope everyones ok, and having a quick read of some of the posts, sounds like it's been eventful and glad everyones pg are going ok, and those in preparation or having down time are good Image, hope things calm down for you Sonya, it's not nice being that ill, take care sweetie Image.

Our scan was good yesterday. I'm a little disappointed as this nurse we had wasn't very talkative, didn't really show me the sceen well, and had her hand in the way some of the time. I thought I saw the heatbeat flicking and leant forward more to see it, and she sighed, but hubby was in awe and loved every minute. He was sat beside her, and he couldn't see properly so got up and stood right behind her chair...you go hubby. But I saw our little baby, I didn't dare ask her to do a more detailed sweep to make sure that the other one wasn't hiding or anything, as we only saw one. That was a had emotion to control, that fact that we seem to have lost the other baby and yet we still have one. It was a bitter sweat happy sad day. And hubby and I just stood and cried outside the hospital, we were so overcome with the whole thing. It was like we really did it, after all that , we have a little person inside me and a heart beating away in there. Hubby's face was just heavenly, he's so in love with our baby, and it was like looking at my emotions all over his face lol. It was a crazy day.

Today was my first midwife appt, and that was great. I was there for about and hour and a half, and have the date of the 12wk scan she wants me to go to for dating our baby. Just been taking the day easy really as I've already had acupuncture this morning, then went to my appt.

Have a good night all :D .

:D  :D Ten Weeks and Two Days :D  :D

Hello everyone. I've been really up and downy this week. My sister is going through a marraige break up and there are two children involved. Its so hard. I want to tell here what I think she should do but I am trying not to get too sucked in because she has to live it all hereslf and people can't always hear you can they. Anyway the stress isn't good on the twins. So I have had to tell my mum to leave me out the loop. Which is hard cos we all always share everything.

Anyway....

Can't wait till I get to twelve weeks! Not long now. Hope I'll feel more sucure then.

Seeing the midwife for the first time next Tuesday. Very impressed by how quick the midwife have seen you Marcia, it funny how different areas of the country vary.

Still don't know when my second scan - first NHS scan is. Hopefully I'll get told on Tuesday.

Rae can you put another bump picure on soon so we can see your progress. My sister told me she had put on a stone and a half by the 11 week with her first baby! I think ihave only put in a couple of pounds and you can see my bump already!

Barbs I look at ivillage.co.uk and pregnancy.org each week for pregnany calandar both have calculator.

Sha I too have full on worry days. Wish they scaned us a bit more often or even better that we had a window that we could look in whenever we want.

Sonya hi honey so sorry you are feeling crappy. Nov is going to be a busy month! Are you able to keep fluid down?

Love to all

Hi Quita, peeking on from Dec babies - I think a window is a fantastic idea, surely we can have a chat with the evolution guys and factor one in asap?

Barbs, I have not stopped worrying from the moment I got the BFP, the first scan which showed a hb helped a little but two days later I was worrying again! I have a second scan this pm to see whether baby B has made it, it wasn't looking very good last week so keeping fingers crossed.

ps Mama you were asking about the Dec babies thread, if you go to message Board and 'Pregnant after Treatment' there's a thread titled Dec Babies.

Marcia, I can understand your conflicted feelings - that must have been bittersweet. But congratulations on your beautiful little one and good luck with everything!!

Sonya, you feeling better at all? I truly hope so. Hang in there...

Quita, that's a hard deal with your sister :( I think you're doing right by yourself by not getting too sucked in right now - extra stress isn't really what you need now. I hope things turn out OK for the whole family.

You asked to see my week 19 bump so here it is :D

:D  :D Ten weeks and five days :D  :D

Hi Rae,

Loving your picture. I am going to have to get my hubby to put one on of me on. Haven't got a clue how to do it!

I think I look pretty much the same size as you - without the gorgeous tan. Do you find you look bigger at night than in the morning, I do. And I can often feel myself stretching and growing.

Tried on the fifties style dress I had fallen in love with for my mums wedding yesterday in Monsoon. Tried it on about 6 weeks ago and a size 8 (think that is an American size 4) was just right for me - with a padded bra!

Went back yesterday and they only had it in a 10 - it looked so funny. Still way too big in the bust but the bodice was skin tight aready and very unflattering - there no way it would fit in five weeks time.

So that has saved me £90.00 going to get something cheaper and empire line now.

It exciting isn't it. the first consent sign that its real.xxx
