Progesterone bumps

Anyone else have these??? Bumpy in my butt where my husband gives me the shots.... They say after a few weeks they can give me a progesterone pellet..I guess the put it directly under the skin and lasts a few weeks...Anyone heard of this??

I get these every night. After each shot, I feel it the morning after. It's like a bolus where it feels like a big mosquito bite under the sking. I hope it goes away after I stop PIO shots. My husband tends to inject me in the same spot every night so I think it may be an accumilation of the drug. Good luck with the bumps, you're not the only one.

I take the progesterone shots every night and last time we went for anuntrasound, my husband asked the doc if there was anywhere other than on my behind where we could inject...they asked me if I'd been putting hot compresses on the site..i said no of course. I never knew to do that... but since Ive been doing that, it's much better. It turns out the scarring underneath makes the medicine take longer to get through the muscle, the warmth not only helps it, but will make you much less sore the next day...
