Hi all
Barb your HCG numbers sound good and strong. Has it sunk in yet your going to be a mummy.
Hello Em how you holding up my Ds was 3and a half kilos at birth so yes you definately have a load hows the kicks and jabs is it as wild in there as i imagine i can picture all these little hands and feet going everywhere. By the way i think your having two boys we'll have to put our votes in to see who can guess isn't that the fun part of having babies people trying to guess what your having well i think it is .
Kery the sniffing starts hey not fun but it makes it all exciting feels like your actually doing something productive regardless of the terrible taste in the back of your throat goodluck it's your turn for a BFP.
Arizona kiwi how are you going I so hope you get to egg collection i had ohss both times after the transfers, with DS i put on about 8 kilos of fluid in matter of days and it's the part i dread most when i start over so lots of fluids and keep your salt intake low goodluck.
Hello again kate hows the wait going hope your not giving in to the nasty HPG although i did i can't help myself. counting down to the 14th for you
Cheeky cheeky how are you how far along are you now.

Hi guys,

Well. Down to earth with a thud.....I just found out that I have failed my glucose challenge test and need to have more testing to confirm gestational diabetes. I am gutted and feel like a failure. I am overweight (was a size 14-16) and now I feel like someone has just held up a sign saying "look what Porky has done to herself now....Tsk Tsk....she shouldn't have eaten so much cake!" I know its all just self pity and I will get over it but feeling really low at the moment.

Em –Your body is working hard and overtime with twins and is going to struggle a little. Don’t be hard on your self. Be kind to yourself and give those 2 little babies of yours some rubs.

Jomae – It is good to hear a success story with OHSS. They have lowered my stimm’s to 100 units this time rather than 150 so I am hoping it will all go ok. I have a blood test tomorrow – I’m looking forward to seeing my result.

Barb – Those numbers are looking good, I hope you are feeling good

Kate – how are you going – another few days down, not long to go.

Hi Ladies

Em, I haven't posted here in ages but just wanted to say don't panic yet. Lots of people fail the first test and pass the second one. I failed both and had GD but it really wasn't a bad thing. It kept me on the straight and narrow as far as healthy eating goes and I came home from hospital weighing less than before I got pregnant! My little boys sugars were fine and he didn't need any extra feeding when he was born and he was an average sized baby. I too was really depressed about being diagnosed but it is certainly no reflection on you or your diet, it is just one of those things. Skinny folks get GD as well! Good luck for the next test and I hope you pass with flying colours.

Hi to everyone else, it is great to see so many success stories (and success stories in the making) from the lands downunder.

Cheers
Heather

Thank you guys so much for letting me whinge yesterday. I woke up this moning feeling so much ore positive and perhaps a little embarrassed by my reaction. I know that its not the end of the world and that as far as things going wrong its really minor. Thank you again for letting me get it off my chest.

Hi guys
Just a quick question. With Syneral they say take it 12 hrs apart. Twice I have missed the time and taken it two hours late. Does this matter?

Hi Kery
I'm sure it won't matter as long as your not missing doses I guess if your really worried i would suggest you ring your clinic. Thats what i hated about taking the syneral i swear i overdosed myself several times as you know your meant to alternate which nosteral you use and everytime i had to spray in my left nostral it would never spray properly so half the time i ended up spraying twice to be sure i got the dose next time i go i'll request the injections instead. How are you going besides your syneral delemha getting excited you know it's your turn.
