I am not sure how many are following this tragic story but I wanted to post to send my wishes and prayers to the safe homecoming of Madeline McCann. This is every parents nightmare and can not imagine her parents anguish. When the news broke of her kidnapping - I could not sleep the entire night and tear up when I think about the monsters who took her.

Please Madeline make it safely home.

My thoughts are with her and her family. there are some sickos out there - its terrifying to think of.

I can't even begin to understand why someone would do that - my DH was off sick from work last week and could not bear to take our daughter to nursery if he was not at work after seeing this story!!

I have been emailing the poster from the bbc website to everyone I know I just wish there was something we could do I watch the news channel all the time just hoping for good news!

This has really touched my heart, as everyone's I'm sure. I used to work at the Ocean Club, at the very reception which is shown on the news all the time. My ex-husband still does work there, he was born in Praia da luz. I lived there for 8 years.

It's like a nightmare for everyone I can't even begin to imagine what her parents are going through. It's surreal seeing my friends/former colleagues on the telly talking about this. Luz has such a wonderful community. My oldest girls grew up there, I can't believe this has happened.

I hope and pray she's found well and soon
