babyb - Hang in there. You never know what the blood test will tell. I am praying hard for you!

rikirees- Wow, what a great dream! I totally believe in the power of dreams. You hear so many women saying they dreamed of their children before they were born. It bodes well for you tomorrow. Loads of baby dust to you!

As for me, I am still having mild cramping after having it go away for a few days. Still have a backache too which I normally don't have with AF coming, but these cramps sure do feel like AF cramps. I have four more days until beta. I'm trying hard to stay positive but this feels like all the other BFN cycles.....

geckogirl:

I'm new to all of this, but thought cramping was a good sign that you may be PG. I have also heard of women complain of back pain. Perhaps all good news? Sending baby dust your way too. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Did my blood test today and awaiting results. Told my Dr. that my HPTs were BFN yesterday and they are not very hopeful. They said once in a blue moon they are wrong at this stage so we should check. I should get the news in an hour or two (I've pretty much given up). They remaining embryos from our donor are all bad quality so it doesn't seem worth the expense to do FET with them vs. a new donor. I'm just sooooo disappointed! Donors should have great quality eggs and lots of them (certainly enough for a couple of rounds). And this donor is proven 3 times over. I keep saying why are we the exception!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praying for you rikirees and geckogirl!!!!!!! Baby dust

Babyb: I logged in here hoping you had good news.

I can recall one particular patient loudly insisting that she was not pregnant as she went in for the blood draw. She was wrong. Good thing she did not stop her meds...

Wishing you the best.

I just got the call from my Dr's office. BFP! My first Beta was 950.
I got for my second Beta on Wednesday.
I am still in shock.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND DUST.
I am praying for you Babyb and geokogirl. They assured me all the cramping I am feeling is all normal from the progesterone and it was nothing to worry about.

I am sooooo excited for you rikirees -- congrats!!!!!!!!! Sounds like you may have more than one with that number.

Unfortunately, the news was not good for us. We received our BFN today and the remaining donor eggs do not look good so we must go through the whole process of looking for another donor and trying to get the money for this round. Feeling very defeated.

I'll keep you in my prayers for a healthy pregnancy

Rikirees - Over 900?!?! That is fantastic. Perhaps you have a few in there!

Babyb - I am so sorry for your BFN. I know how you feel. I took a HPT today 9dp3dt and it was negative too. I am just waiting for the beta on Thursday to confirm what I already know. I am really sad but ready to see what our next options will be. I just know there is a happy ending out there for all of us....

just got back from the dr's office for my second beta. I dont know why but I am nervous about it today. I don't have any symptoms except SLEEPING, which is all I seem to do when I am not at work. I hope it all ok. I just have a nervous bug in me today.

Hi everyone,

I just want to update everyone then I will move to the pregnancy boards.
I had my first ultrasound today and I'm 5w2d. They saw two sacs but they were too small to see heart beats yet. I go back in two weeks for another ultrasound.....another 2 week wait :(

I'm glad to see everyone's good news and sad to see the negatives.

Rikirees I'm estatic over your numbers....I see why you're sleeping alot. How many did you have transferred back? What day (10, 12) was your beta drawn on?

Take care all.

Hi Mattie:
Thanks for the warm wishes. My beta day 10 was 950 and day 12 was 2328. I go for the first ultrasound next week. I transfered 3 blasts. Feeling so defeted from all other attempts I alone made the decision for 3, as my husband wanted to do 2. Now I find myself in a position I never imagined, concern all 3 took!

Gecko Girl: So sorry to hear about the HPT result. I am praying for you and hope tomorrow you will be the one who gets to say that the HPT was wrong (doesn't always happen, but as we have seen, it does happen on rare occasions). As for us, we have decided to implant the 4 frozen embies (even though they are pretty bad quality -- what do we really have to lose?) At the same time, we are lining up another donor (yet another expense). It kills me how there are so many irresponsble women out there having kids they never wanted so easily and that there are so many of us dying to have kids who have tried time after time to no avail. Life really makes no sense to me.

Rikirees: Don't fret your decision. You'd rather be in plenty rather than lack. You made the right call. If you really have triplets, and you feel this is too many for whatever reason (health of the babies, pregnancy risks, personal reasons, etc.) you do have the option of selective reduction. I know this can be a very difficult decision (and some have religious reservations), but it is an option. MOREOVER, just because you have really high Beta does not mean triplets (maybe twins). My first pregnancy, my betas were off the chart high on the first test (a natural pregnancy). I had a singleton.

Good luck to everyone.
