Hey Jomae
Yea surely missing by a few hours couldn't hurt. I hate the syneral too I would rather do it by injection, at least then you know it's all getting into you. I am not as excitied this time. I think it's easier on myself if I don't so then if it all doesn't work out it's not such a blow. By doing this it somehow makes the time go much faster too.

Take care

Hi Kate,

If yo don't normally get a brownish discharge before your AF, then I would take it as a sign of implantation bleeding, which is obvioulsy great news. Look after your tummy and wait for tomorrow's test. I have good vibes for you!

Jomae - I am 32 weeks tomorrow! I am absolutely HUGE and my tummy is so tight, I'm sure it can't be long now. I get the results of my follow up glucose tests tomorrow.

Kery - I wouldn't worry about the Synarel doses, as long as you are taking them it should work. What are your dates - first scan, EC, ect?

Wow Em 32 Weeks gee I bet you can't wait to get your babies out. Friends that I have that have had twins seem to get to that stage and have just had enough. What is full term for twins is it 32 weeks?
They have given me the date to be around the 25th for EC but they haven't given me any dates for scans. AF is due in the next day or two so back onto the puregon again. This cycle has flying buy thank god!!

Take care

Hi girls

Kate - do not worry too much about the discharge - I had it towards the end of my 2ww and freaked but still ended up BFP.
My nurse told me it could be a small injury from a finger nail or something when putting in the delightful pessaries.

Good luck!

Hi Guys,

Kate! What news? I am so nervous for you. Hopefully you have been so busy celebrating, you've forgotten to come tell us????

Kery - 36-37 weeks is full term for twins, so only 4 weeks or so to go. Am VERY fed up with it all....not sleeping, all my joints ache and I get puffed out going up the stairs. But wouldn't trade it for the world. Just ready to meet them. It is so exciting not knowing what sex they are..I'm so glad we didn't find out!

Barbs - hows your little one keeping? Any sickness yet? When is your first scan - must be coming up soon?

Oh. I had my glucose tolerance test and passed with flying colours so all that stressing was for absolutely nothing. Thanks again for allowing me to vent!

Em - I 'm glad your follow up test went well. I can imagine how exciting it must be waiting to meet your little ones, expecially if you don't know if you are having little boy's, girl's or one of each. It will be extra special when they are born.

I hope you manage to get some sleep and find a comfortable position to relax in (I remember reading somewhere that the reason it is hard to get a good nights sleep in the last few weeks is to get you used to surriving on intrupted nights !!!)

Barb's - I hope you are feeling well, your first scan must be coming up soon, make sure you get a photo !!

Kate - I hope you have had some good news.

Kary - Glad time is flying by - you will just be a week behind me we will be in some of our 2ww together.

Thankfully my estergoen level is not rising to much this time, I have another scan and blood test tomorrow, fingers crossed my eggs have grown enough so I can trigger tomorrow night.

Have a lovely day tomorrow everyone.

Angela - Good luck with your bloods...I hope your body does the right thing for you and that you can trigger.

Hi Jomae - You will have your own little bundle of joy soon.....you've done it before and so its only a matter of time.

Kery - the 25th isn't far off. How are you doing with the synarel?

Hey Em
Yea I'm doing good on the syneral and had no side effects apart from being a bit forgetful but I think I have always been like that. I consider myself to be lucky with no headaches or anything. My trick is to stay as buzy as possible and you soon forget about the meds. The first cycle I was always thinking about it and worried I was doing something wrong but this time I'm far more relaxed. If it all works then I will be over the moon and if not I will move on from this ivf rollercoaster!!

Hi Kate
I was really sad to hear your news. It sounds like this week has been a real rollercoaster for the both of you. Nothing much that I can say will make you feel better but myself and all the ladies are always here to listen and support you. Before you know it those little embies will be thawing!

Take care and lots of hugs to you.

Kate
I'm so sorry to hear your news it sounds like you were so close the same thing happened to me on our first go i had a beta of 12 which as the doctor put it i was pregnant just not enough. I just tryed to think of it as my trial run and that the next go will work better which it did as we now have DS . In a way the result you got although a negative has got some positive in it as it showed that your body is able to accept a pregnancy it just wasn't the right egg this time and thats half the battle over. So try not to be to dissappointed I know its easier said than done.

Try and take some time out relax and you'll be all fresh and ready to go for the next round and the BFP you'll get. PMA PMA PMA PMA PMA

Hi Kate,

Jomae has said it all......you've had a nibble - next time you'll get the whole fish. Your body just wasn't quite ready. Its little consolation right now though, and I hope that you are being kind to yourself and DH. A month off to get super healthy and relaxed before they do an FET sounds like a good idea. You've already proved that your embryos are tough little fellas! A huge hug for you.

Hi everyone else. Had a bit of a shock yesterday at the Obs appointment as my BP was too high and I have been put on bed rest until I see him again on monday. I have had to hire a BP machine and have to take it twice a day and if it goes back up, I have to go in to hospital. Am trying to stay cool, calm and collected but not sleeping well. Shall keep you posted.
