Just popping in say GOOD LUCK to Ali and GeckoGirl – I’m wishing, hoping and praying that all goes well for you both. Have been thinking about you over the last week although I haven’t had time to post.
Many thanks for your posts about my prolactin level. I’ve got that on my list of questions for our first appointment. We’re flying out this coming Friday…
Catch up with you all again soon. Will be looking for your news tomorrow, Ali. Hugs xxx
Love
Sonia

I am keeping you in my thoughts. I am hoping for BFP's for both of you.
With my past IVF's, I did the HPT one day before my blood tests since I wanted to prepare myself for a negative. I had negative's both times.
My last HPT (natural pregnancy) resulted in a BFP!!
Yasmina & Bev,
Andrew gave me a wonderful Mother's Day present last night. He slept from 10:00 pm - 4:30 am...........6.5 hours!!!!! I think he may have slept longer, but DH woke up with a coughing spell.
Hello to Sonia, Kat and Anna !

Hi everyone
Have just logged on to let you know our sad news - unfortunately a BFN - can't quite believe it at the mo as I was trying to be so positive and after my bad day on Saturday I seemed to be getting messages, daft things like emails with special offers on baby products or friends who thought this time it had worked - silly I know.
Sorry for this ramblng but I'm feeling very numb at the moment - it's either numb or crying

April 2006- 1 embie - ICSI - BFN
May 2007 - donor egg tmt in Mallorca, 2 embies, - BFN
May 2008 - FET DE 1 embie - BFN
I am so sorry to hear your bad news. I know it can be so hard to hear BFN but don't give up. I know a friend that had a donor egg tmt and got BFN the first time, but the second round she is now 3 months pregnant. So it can happen. I am testing tomorrow but not real positive because having AF cramps and boobs are tingly the past 2 weeks off and on. But I an having AF cramps today and boobs are more tingly today so I cant help to think that AF is going to show her ugly face. I hope you don't give up.

Hi Ali, I know that "I am sorry" won't help you too much although that is the best that I can offer. We all know it eventually will happen - one way or another, it just the process of getting there is never easy. Hope you and your DH find next step soon and we will be still here for you, wishing and hoping!
Geckogirl, have you tested on a stick yet? As I said before, you are not only a number to your clinic this time around and I am pretty sure that you will be the one brings us the BFP next. If you are lucky, you may have more than one. Good luck!

Hi everyone
Thank you all so much for your messages - it's so nice having you all there!
I am feeling a little better now - you kind of come to terms with it and DH is being very supportive and just gives me lots of hugs which is just what I need right now. It's still really hard seeing people with little baby's or pregnant women, the trouble is 2 of my friends are heavily pregnant at the moment so it's going to be tough for a while, that's sounds a horrible thing to say doesn't it, I don't mean it to be it's just hard to make sense of it all sometimes.
Anyway looking ahead - the specialist rang me back and would like to see us next week to go through things and to give me a check up. We have 2 embies in the freezer from our DE so we need to make a decision on what to do next and when.
Thanks again for all your support
Good luck today Geckogirl! We all have everything crossed for you.
love Ali x

good to hear from you. It is such a difficult time that you just have to go with the waves of emotion. Sounds like you and DH are supporting each other so well which is half of the battle. Seeing pregnant woman babies and prams set me off too. But i totally understand what you will be feeling with your heavily preg friends. Big hugs honey, it is a hard one.
It's great that you can see your consultant so soon. after my BFN i had to wait 2 months ( NHS system here takes ages). Hope that you can go for the frosties soon. love x x

Wish I had better news for us "older ladies" but it is a BFN again for us. We are sad but will meet with our RE in the next month to see what our options are. I am thinking donor eggs but perhaps adoption may be better. Anyway, our minds are open to anything the RE suggests. Take care everyone and thanks for all the good wishes!
