Hi My name is kimberly and I am doing my first IVF cycle. Yesterday I went in for my estrodiol level and pelvic son( I was on stims for 5 days). My estrogen was a 347 and I was told to continue my meds(lupron,gonalf f & repronex) .... I go back tommorrow and am getting excited as the day is near(monday egg retrieval). So far everything looks good no cysts,lineing is getting thicker and follicles are growing . I am nervous about the egg retrieval and hope there is good egg quality. i am trying to stay positive but as you all know it's hard. This is all new to me and you all seemed so informed . my DR. hasen't even didcussed egg quality etc? Is this normal?

Congratulations on almost being done with your first cycle! I don't really understand what any of the numbers mean but after your ER they will call you with a report to tell you how many eggs were retrieved, how many were mature, and how many fertilized. It will usually be the next morning. When you go in for EC either 3 days or 5 days later they will give you an update on how your embryos are doing. They will usually transfer the best one or two and if there are any others that look good they will freeze those. Good luck to you!!!
