Help on HCG numbers in BETA test

Hi,

I just went for my blood work today for BETA test and got my HCG numbers as 56. Not sure if this is a good number or not..They have asked me to come again on thursday to repeat the test. My nurse said its a good number to start with but it depends on whether it doubles on thursday or not. A bit disappointed and could not be very happy due to the BFP!!

is this a good sign and does anyone has similar numbers and increased later? I tested on 11 days post 3 day egg transfer.

Rady...The 56 is fine. Like the nurse said--the important part is that the number doubles. Congrats!

Congrats. Your number is good and as she said anything that doubles is great. Just try to hang in there until Thursday. My IVF doc said anything over 50 is good. So again Congrats and keep us posted.

Hi everyone,

Just got my second BETA results. It's 130 as of 17th and it was 56 on 15th...i know the numbers had doubled. but when i see many BFP postings here, many have in the range of 200. Have my next b/w on this monday. will have to wait and see.

Rady--You are pregnant! Congrats. Don't sweat the number, honestly. Think about all the women you know who've gotten pregnant that have never even heard of a beta number. The number doubled. That's huge. That's what matters.
