Has anyone been prescribed Synthroid while TTC? My RE said my TSH was slightly elevated
it's a 4 and he wants it to be a 2 before we start the next round of shots...he prescribed me 50 mcg ....but my concern is, once I start taking Synthroid will it make my thyroid depend on it for the rest of my life?, Since technically it's in the normal range. I have never taken this medicine before and I'm wondering if I should have asked the RE to test me again just to be sure? On the other hand he comes highly respected and regarded and I don't want to question him. Can you tell I'm just a little freaked out!? Would love some of your opinions on this!!? I'm so nervous! I'm a bit obessed about this so I've posted on the TTC 40 forum too!
