New Arrival!

Post by Dee »

Just to let you know that Max Lloyd was born on 24 November and he is just perfect. He decided to arrive a few days earlier than planned so I had an emergency c-section rather than the planned section (planned for 27 Nov). We are both really well and have been at home for a couple of days now. I am still feeling pretty overwhelmed by it all to be honest - he is a beautiful baby (despite bearing a likeness to Winston Churchill from a certain angle!) and I still look at him all day long finding it hard to believe that we have finally got him. It has all been so worth it.

I will drop a line soon when I have some more time to update you. I would just like to take this opportunity to give you all a huge thank you for all of the support that you have given me throughout our treatment and pregnancy. I am still thinking of old friends who are still undergoing treatment and hoping that you will soon have the success that we have had.

Lots and Lots of Love
Dee, Rob and Max
xxxxxx

Dear Dee and Rob,

At last.....I can't send you a big enough hug to say congratulations!!! They all look like a cross between Winston and ET in the first few weeks but amazingly they turn into the most beautiful creature in the world and I know the fact that you feel so blessed to have them never fades. I still sit in wonder sometimes and just stare at them and thank my lucky stars they are here. Thta is why we IVF mums and dads are so special, we really do value what we have.

Ditto the advice about getting as much rest as you can, and accept any offers of help you can...and of course look after yourself and Rob, because Max is probably getting spoilt rotten already and you deserve it as much as him.

Will be waiting on tenterhooks for the photos

LoL
Nicky

Max,

Welcome to the world, your mummy and daddy must be very proud of you. They've been waiting a very long time to meet you, and have gone through so much for you already. Please let them have some sleep, and make sure that your mummy takes lots of rest to get over her operation.

Make sure that they send lots of photos to all their cyberaunties!

With love,

Amie and Ben
xx

Wonderful news. Its fantastic, every time we have a birth anouncement it brings tears to my eyes. We just can't wait to give ours in a few months time (touch wood). We 'special' parents really do appreciate absolutely everything and if you are anything like I'm going to be, you'll be even relishing the sleepless nights because its your own baby whos causing them rather than all the worries we had 'before' I hope that all the girls who are still going through the nightmare of treatment get some hope from all these success' as I did.
Love and huge cyber hugs to all 3 of you. xxxxxx
