When to test after a blastocyst transfer?

Post by Maryberr »

Hi I'm Mary, and I'm a POAS addict.

:)

I just had my FET yesterday and I'm wondering how many of you out there POAsed early? How early did you get a +? My little ones were two 5 or 6 day blasts one was already hatching out of the zona palucida and the other did assisted hatching before they put it in. I'm pumped!

So I was thinking next Saturday (7DPT) for my HPT day, what do you think?

A serum test would have a good chance of a positive on that day. In fact, in pregnancies resulting in live birth, then the probability of having rising hCG by day 7 is over 90%.

The HPT is less sensitive and less reliable. If it's positive on that day, that's great, but if not, you still can't rule out pregnancy.

Thanks for your response. Yeah, they won't do a serum test until May 29th :P
Hey, I like the 7dpo test idea even more since you said that if it's negative, I won't have to believe it, lol
