BFN.......Damn! I thought this time would work with 6 embies transfered and all high quality. Don't know what the problem is (age probably) but we will meet with our RE sometime next month to see what steps to take next.
Hope all is well with everyone else! For those still on the 2ww - hang strong!
I am new to this board. I am feeling pretty happy today though but still sore from the ER.
My story is we have an almost 3 year old daughter conceived naturally. I'm 33 and DH 39. After trying for another 1 year and 6 months for number 2 we started with some tests. The 2 semen analysis showed that my DH sperm were 98% - 100% amorphous with low motility. They told us that our chances of conceiving naturally were less than 1% per month, somewhere around 3% for IUI, also low for IVF, but good (55%) with ICSI.
I had 22 eggs at ER
15 were mature eggs
11 ICSI - 10 fertilized
4 IVF - 3 fertilized (so apparently there is hope for DH's sperm)
From what I can tell I think these are good results.
I have been getting more and more anxious as the days go by. I think this process will drive me crazy and the fact that I am still in pain and don't feel like doing anything doesn't help.
I am waiting now to hear if transfer will be 3d Sunday or 5d Tuesday.
Hello!
I haven't posted an intro in this thread yet, but I just started my 2ww after an FET yesterday. We put back two beautiful beauties, one that was hatching already. I am hopeful this time, but I'm also trying to stay grounded. Every once in a while, some serious fear bubbles up though, but I guess that is normal after having an ectopic.
Anyway, is there anyone else in the 2ww??

Welcome to the thread Maryberr and wanttodiscuss! This 2ww is horrible, though it finally seems to be speeding up a bit.
Maryberr- I think your fears are natural given your history of ectopic. That must have been so scary and sad for you. Keep your fingers crossed. That's hopeful news that one was hatching yesterday.
I'm actually a bit afraid that mine is going to be ectopic (faint positive on HPT) b/c I'm one of those people who think "nothing good ever happens to me."
wanttodiscuss- Wow, I can't believe you conceived your daughter naturally- that's great. Keep us posted on your fertilization reports and your transfer date. My husband also has a horrible count/motility- and 5 of our 6 fertilized!
Me- 29. Blocked fallopian tube.
DH- 29. Low count; no motility.

Strange update...... I called my RE because I was having unusual ovary pain post IVF (same as after my 2nd IUI) and they did an u/s today. The nurse said that my ovaries seemed to be healing fine but did see a sac in my uterus. She said it could be a gestational sac, the beginings of my period, or fluid from the transfer. They ran a full CBC and urine analysis to rule out any infection which have come back negative. She also ran another beta test just in case and, of course, it didn't come back today so I have to call tomorrow. My pain started after I stopped the PIO and estrace and is located on the left side where they retrieved the most eggs. She said not to get my hopes up but it is still possible to have a + beta. Has anyone else ever had this happen. I am totally freaked out!
Thanks for the welcome Stephanie!
And congrats on the BFP, a line is a line! I know it's hard to believe sometimes that good things can happen to infertiles like us, but I swear it does. I know it didn't happen for me last time, but it just has to one of these times... I have a good feeling for you and best of luck on your beta!!

StephanieD-
I would also like to thank you for the welcome. The positive HPT sounds great! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
We went for the 3 day review today and they said that things are going well and we are doing a 5dt on Tuesday. So far 4 - 7 cell and 2 - 6 cell rated as excellent (as well as a few 4-5 cell rated excellent and a couple of 6 cell rated Good). Of couse I've read alot of comments about not making it to the blastocysts stage or not have any left to freeze then and it makes me nervous and wonder if we should have just transferred the best ones today.
I am getting more nervous and anxious by the day. I don't know how I will make it to 16 days from now when they do the test. Suddenly the process is becoming more and more real to me. I have been able to contain my hopes a bit until now, but now I am a bundle of excitement/anxiety rolled together.
Hi,
I got 2 embryos transferred on the 18th and my first Beta is on the 30th.
Since yesterday I am feeling very bloated with lower abdominal pain and fullness. My RE was watching me for OHSS everything went well till now, when I started having these symptoms. Anyone who had OHSS during previous cycles please advise. This is my first cycle and everything makes me nervous.
I am so happy to say that I am officially pregnant!!! My beta hcg isn't until 5/25, but I caved in and drew one at work (I'm a nurse) and it came back at 138!!!! I guess those HPTs were accurate. I'm just wondering what my numbers will be by Friday. I have a feeling I'm carrying twins!
Hope everyone else is doing well in their cycle and coping.
Babydust to everyone!!!!
